Hello Everybody,
I have been playing FIFA for a while now and this post is a result of that.I just want to say some points about the overall game FIFA 2004.I dont have pro evolution
soccer 3 or Winning Eleven so comparing FIFA 04 to any other game is out of question.

After having played FIFA for over a month now i realised that i have been wasting my time like **** and have given away FIFA to my cousin for free,yes for free and i have no regrets,none
at all.I think FIFA 03 was better than FIFA 04.

EA Sports has made a fool out of me and millions of other innocent people who have bought FIFA 04.When I played FIFA 03 last year I was impressed,though it had some bugs like the
goalkeeper complaining to the players instead of trying to save the rebound even before the goal was scored off the rebound.I expected that FIFA 04 would be a blast with the reviewers of various sites (including metacritic) giving it such a huge billing
and hailing it as a massive improvement.Okay, so i loaded the game and was greeted by a great intro,hmm.. i said as i got ready to use Off the Ball(TM)..duh...technique.I played the training
and some games and after some games it stuck me that all i was doing was wasting my time,why was i playing something which wasnt a football SIM after all?Players all falling around the referee
the CPU tackles me in the penalty box everytime from behind and theres no penalty?the faces and hands/legs of all players even the referees are of different shades.What the hell is this?
Was that Ryan Giggs i saw in a MANU jersey?What happened to his legs?Whenever i scored a goal my players celebrated in Pop Star Style, cant they celebrate like real footballers?And why should everyone celebrate in the same style after scoring?and I can score from the sweetspot repeatedly everytime and score a goal from the same position?What the hell is this?EA,what the hell did you do in a year?Cant u guys change the gameplay?EA shud have scratched the 2003 Engine and built it
from beginning for FIFA 04.Damn!FIFA 01 was more addictive.

I dont understand one thing.Why Do people buy games only to play as their favourite team?I read this post in the FIFA 04 forum with the title("FIFA is boring") and many forum users agreed.To my surprise not only did they agree but most of them said that they bought FIFA only for multiplayer or to play as their favourite teams or because it had the english first division and stuff.What
good is a present if it only has a nice wrapper and nothing inside?what goos is a football sim if it only has nice presentation and no gameplay?(not comparing to PES/WE).

Unfortunately,FIFA numbers continue to swell and innocents or rather fools like me continue to fill EA's coffers.I aint comparing FIFA to any other game because i havent played WE/PES
as it is not available in INDIA and may never be available.I am just evaluating the FIFA game on its own.Its a shame that i cant get my hands on a PES/WE, but all i can do is wait,till it comes
here..Hey Is there any chance of konami taking the FIFA license from 2006?I would love to play the game seeing how fanatic PES lovers are about the game(hey LOCOLOMBIA,theCRO..LuisAhhoy..).

I Request konami to take out a CD version of the game too as most of us dont have DVD Drives.Konami shud try to make their game accessible to as many as possible instead of being restrictive,the advantage of which goes to EA.

I shall wait for PES/WE to come to INDIA,but I have had enough of FIFA.Rest assured the next football sim that i play will be PES/WE.Thanx for reading,i hope all FIFA fans think over it

I'll have to wait for sometime thoug, maybe an year or so,but as i said,if i play a football sim again it will be PES/WE

And i forgot to mention about the crowd animations,i havent seen PES/WE animations but only saw the PES2 crwod animation from the www.showusmiracle.com site especially in an avi movie which was hasselbaink scoring a long ranger.The crowd was silent but i could still see a lone flag waving in the crowd...as the away team had scored...i though to myself then...ohhhhh how real?Whereas all you see in FIFA is small dots and people clapping and waving irrespective of the situation..lol :PFIFA:PEA

I totally agree with you man. I felt EXACTLY the same way way back with FIFA99, I had no alternative, but I knew that FIFA was not football, not even close. The more I played, the more I despised FIFA for their complete lact of realism and the absurd bullcrap they feed you in their promos.

I hated FIFA99, then I hired out EVERY other soccer game, Actua, Libero Grande...every one of them in order to find something which resembled my beloved sport. One of the games was a PS1 black&white covered game called ISS 98. Put 'er in, hated it. Unresponsive controls, too hard to shoot let alone score, difficult to drible past 5 players and shots would go everywhere...

so I gave it back to the vid shop and didn't think about it again, a month later me and me mate were bored, so wen't to get a snowboarding game out, get smashed at home and relax. The same soccer game was there, and we hired it, I liked it because they actually bothered to give my team roatia proper shirts and positions, albeight fake names...

It was one of the bst nights ever, we discovered real football that night. The delicate intricate controls, the build up, the use of the wings, the passing game, taking someone on, whipping in a cross, working on defense, breakaways, REALISTIC FOOTBALL experience ! We were hooked, and I wondered why I didn't see the splendor of this great game..

The next day I bought it, had to catch 2 busses into the city and pay $99, but it was some of the best money I've ever spent. I didn't have anyone telling me there was an alternative, I stumbled onto this game and, the rest, is history.

Order Pro Evo 3 from any online outlet you can, sell the family sheep if you have to...if you're anything like the millions of uf football/PES fanatics, you will be forever thankful...

OR just d/l the demo, demo is a good foretaste before purchasing the full
and you don't need dvd rom to play demo, there are patches for it too with you can play more than 4 default teams and long than 5 minutes

I prefered play PES3 demo instead of crappy Fifa 2k4 full

That was a bit of a surprise(the Namaste,not the post).I will try to download the demo,it may take 2-3 days but i shall try it.And hopefully i wont be using off 'duh' ball again.Thanx mate Hey can i play it with keyboard or is it too difficult using keyboard?

you can, but it's better with a gamepad...good luck with the demo, I'm sure you'll recognise what all of us have in this game.

Yeh to play this game using a keyboard is impossible.
