ShiftyPowers is currently 4 posts away from 30k. Everybody needs to be alert to spot and record that great moment because he is obligated to make it the single greatest post in SG history and failure on his part should be met with mockery and derision by all.

Your post is extremely unclear. Let's go back to the beginning, which shockingly is actually in post #3, not post #1. In post #3 in this thread, you said that he was pacing himself and saving his post for the best time.

Define what you mean by best time. Specifically, is that what you mean by his best time, or what he means by his best time? In either case, how does the person (him) who posts know this? As an extension, how do you know that he knows this?

No it's not. You've simply looked at his post count and counted backwards. That's completely illogical.

It's more likely his 30,000 would be AFTER the number '30,000' - as you should go to the start and count forwards...There would be more likely quite a few missing posts I guess - due to deleted threads etc. So he probably isn't even up to 30,000 posts yet.
