well im not really a very big critic of this game but...well this is a solid example of what i mean to say........


imagine this:

in a game between real madrid and sevilla.......a sevilla player makes a move towards goal......so helguera makes tackle on the player in the bx but instead of bringin him dowm ..he birngs SALGADO down!!! and guess what????
.....................Sevilla get a penalty!!!

Human Drama

Yes, I appreciate why you think this type of "bug" irritating
but just consider a real match for a second. Refs, linesmen and players make errors of judgement throughout the 90 minutes and this makes the game a genuinely human drama (and is also the reason I would oppose video replays being used to change decisions)
And no, I don't think for a moment that EA incorporated this idea into their game engine, it's just a happy accident.

the problem is when you tackled him he may not have fallen over, but u were still late and didnt get the ball. u also followed through on salagdo. the same the has happened to me. it has also happen many a time in real life, players getting tripped not falling over and still getting the foul. u probably put him off his shot.

Well I was playing against my friend and most of the players were still in the penalty area because I had just had a corner. The ball came to my player outside the box and I took a shot. Well, the shot hit the legs of my friends player, he fell down, and guess what: I got a freekick and my friend a yellow card. Kewl, eh?
