for Liverpool FC

well we are almost to the half point of the season, for Liverpool I think I has been good with a new manager, some new players, and injuries it has been good, so fa. Some problem we need to work out is consistansy, and start wining in away games. In Europe it has been good to we qualify for the next round, we got a decent oponent Bayer Leverkusen, it won't be easy.

Chris Kirkland: 5
Makes many mistakes, and let in easy goals. Every time a team has one shot it end up as goal.

Jerzy Dudek: 5.5
Average had his mistakes at the begining then was dropped for Kirkland bu his on goal again and has done good.

Josemi: 5.5
Started the season very good but than started playing bad.

Steve Finnan: 7
very solid this season playing as rightback or rightwing.

Jamie Carragher: 8
Our best defender so far.

Sami Hyypia: 5.5
very slow at times has some good games but we need someone better.

John Arne Riise: 7
does his job well defends good and attacks well.

Luis Garcia: 8
one of our best signings. misses some easy chances but scores good goals.

Harry Kewell: 6
bad for his standars, but looks like he is starting to get his confidence back.

Xabi Alonso: 9
our best signing this season. controls the game really good and GREAT passes.

Steven Gerrard: 10
what can I say. our captain. best player, great goals in crucial games and great inspiration for team-mates.

Milan Baros: 9
great seson for him, score alot of goals.

Neil Mellor: 7
doesn't appear all match but when he does he scores ( ask Arsenal)

Sinama-Pongolle: 7.5
when he plays does a great job.

Best Player: Steven Gerrard

Surprise Player:Djimi Traore

Best Signing Xabi Alonso

Dida - 7.5
Getting better and better as the season progresses.

Cafu - 7
Great on the right, but sometimes lacks determination and makes bad passes.

Paolo Maldini - 6.5
Has looked very shaky so far, not as bad recently though.

Kakhaber Kaladze - 7.5
Plagued by injuries, but amazing when he's healthy... getting back into his stride, let's pray for no more injuries.

Alessandro Costacurta - 7
Barely gets any more playing time, but solid and versitile and can play anywhere when asked to.

Alessandro Nesta - 7
Sometimes shaky as well, but still solid.

Giuseppe Pancaro - 6
Meh, not the same as last season.

Jaap Stam - 7
Organized the defense brilliantly when he played, but injuries are killing him.

Gennaro Gattuso - 7.5
Heart of the team, but is prone to making bad passes or crosses.

Rui Costa - 7
Good when called upon.

Clarence Seedorf - 7
Could be doing better, makes some bad passes, but still great.

Andrea Pirlo - 8
Best defensive playmaker in the world.

Kaka - 6.5
Not the Kaka we saw last season... seems less confident.

Massimo Ambrosini - 1
Death.

Vikash Dhorasoo - 7
Good replacement if something happens to Pirlo.

Serginho - 6.5
Meh.

Andriy Shevchenko - 9
God.

Hernan Crespo - 7.5
Milan brought the old Crespo back.

Jon Dahl Tomasson - 6
Not effective.

 

[PSVFOREVER]

We had a great season, but the last matches we seem to have lost it, Im happy it's winterbreak, so we can recover, if we had to play more matches now, we probably would lose more points.

Gomes: 6,5. Decent, hasn't done that much, but has shown some good saves (and some dumb actions)

Ooijer: 7 One of PSV's best players at DR, although I prefer himin the centre

Lee: 7 Finally good, running down the wing every match several times. Scored his first goal He is only right footed though, and therefor his crosses from the left side (he's DL can be bad).

Alex: 7,5 Great season, they cant get past him, as it seems.

Bouma: 6 I don't know really, has a pretty bad season with some slips, doesn't seem to do much good things either, so he's average.

Cocu: 8 He's great, controlles everything, great passes and often comes in front of goal and is an awesome header.

Van Bommel: 7 Had a great start, one of the best periods of van Bommel ever, but later on he got more average, with some good matches.

Vogel: 7 He was always a very boring player for PSV doing nothing special, this season more through balls and he even tries to score. Defending he's good too.

Park: 5,5 He had a great start, but more average now, dives pretty easy too, which is a bad habbit.

Farfan: 7,5 Great! Good actions, some nice goals too.

Beasley: 6 I'm not really convinced of him, he barely gets past his man. He is physically too weak, should be loaned out for a year IMO. The few goals he scored were mostly tap-ins. He had a good match against Rosenborg, but that's it.

Vennegoor of Hesselink: 6,5 Scored some important goals and is topscorer of PSV. Showed he can be technically good too. Not really the Kezman like goalgetter though.

Sibon: 6 Didn't play much, scored some goals, but those were more luck than wisdom as we say here.

best player: Cocu easily.
worst player: Park of the starters, Feher of all players.
surprising player: Farfan, came here for the future Hiddink said at the start, but is one of the most important players already.

Yeah, he had a bad start, but he's very good now. He doesn't try to think attacking anymore too. Attacking he's still crap....

Ajax:

Vonk - 7.5
Probably the most steady and solid of all 3 GKs. Not the best, but his experience is good for the team.

Trabelsi - 8
The best upcoming right back in the world. Shuts down defenders before they can do anything and is very decent too when he makes runs.

Escude - 7.5
Best season with Ajax so far. Solid in the back, solid when going up for free kicks and corners. Last year he was blamed for his mistakes, they won't be able to do that this year. Won't be labeled a Koeman misbuy either.

Grygera - 6
Not the type of defender Ajax needs. He lets his man move around too much. But he's young.

Maxwell - 7.5
Great left back, no doubt. He hasn't been as good as last year but he's still awesome.

Galasek - 8.5
Was injured most of the time but when he came back, we found out why he was such a necessity.

Sneijder - 8
Better than Rafael, Koeman was wrong in not picking him up as a starter. That seems to have inspired him to play better. He's a definitely a starter now.

Van der Vaart - 7
- Not being the captain, the pressure's off him. He seems to have picked up his form of two years ago.

Rosales - 8.5
Best buy of the season, a typical right-winger. Excellent replacement for van der Meyde, perhaps even better. He can score goals too. But he's had a long season, the winter break came at the right time for Mauro.

Babel - 9
Biggest talent of the year. He'll be a big star one day.

Mitea/Boukhari - I
Neither have played enough to be judged properly. I like Mitea better though, that's for sure.

De Jong - 7
Midfield's his place, not rightback or central defender.

Heitinga - 5
Horribly out of form. Not sure why.

Stekelenburg - 5
Lobont's still better than him in my opinion. Which says a lot because Lobont's last performance was horrible.

Anastasiou - 7
Than he's there, than he's not. Gotta give him credit for some winning goals.

Pienaar - 8
Was great, too bad he got injured. Solved a midfield dilemma for Komean though.

Sonck - 0
Get lost, you waffler-molester.

Worst: Heitinga and Sonck.
Best: Babel and Rosales.
Surprise: Babel and Escude.

GK: 1. Lehmann (5) - Nothing special, he only gets a 5 because he's made some nice saves. Other than that, bah.

GK: 24. Almunia - Played well against Chelsea and Portsmouth after horrific blunders in Carling Cup and Champions League games.

D: 12. Lauren (8) - One of the more underated players in the game, does well going forward, he's been good.

D: 28. Toure (8) - Solid in the absence of Campbell

D: 23. Campbell (9) - Has shown why Arsenal missed him so much while he was injured.

D: 3. Cole (8) - Typical Ash, best left-back in England

D: 18. Cygan - Better than everyone expected, but he's nowhere near the starting level.

D: 22. Clichy (7) - Very nice, but has had limited time.

M: 8. Ljungberg (8) - Having a great season, among the goals aswell.

M: 4. Vieira (4) - Terrible so far, he needs to refind his form

M: 15. Fabregas (9) - Superb

M: 16. Flamini (7) - Going well from what we've seen, good outing against Chelsea.

M: 19. Gilberto (9) - Played few matches, but was giant. Come back soon, we need you.

M: 17. Edu (NA) - Hasen't played enough

M: 7. Pires (10) - Outstanding, and he hasen't been fully fit much of the season.

F/M: 9. Reyes - Started out on fire but has cooled substantially.

F/M: 11. van Persie (7) - Has shown some impact, saved the match against southampton. Could have done better in some areas. Was overall poor against Portsmouth.

F: 10. Bergkamp (5) - Seems out of form at the moment, but when he's in form he's amazing. Needs to step it up again.

F: 14. Henry (10) - Has really carried the load alot of times, 16 league goals and 10 league assists speaks for itself. (He leads the league in both)

Panathinaikos

The coaching change (Shum replaced Schazni ) came too late to salvage our Champions league season. The f*ckin pitch at Rozeborg f*cked us. We deserve to be in the next round, but instead we drew Sevilla in the next UEFA cup round. Not an easy game IMO. In the Greek league we are fighting for 1st in what is turning out to be the most exciting season I have ever seen in Greece. 8 teams are in contention for 1st. Usually by this time Olympiakos or Panathinaikos have it wrapped up. Here's the rundown.

GK.........Nikopolidis loss was huge here. Both Galinovic..7 and Halkias..7 aren't half the keeper he was. Galinovic is struggling currently to fill this spot.

Defense

RB:Henriksen..8, still good but old and Kotsios..6 is not doing a good job in his first year, the jury is still out on him

CB:Fyssas..8 sorely missed here, and Kyrgiakos..6 is not the guy we need in this spot.

CB:Loukas Bydra..8 (Paniliakos) is worth all the money given for him.

LB: Skacel..8, deemed in the preseason to replace Seitaridis..10(also sorely missed), is slowly startin to pull his weight here

RM: people rotate this spot like the midnight shift in the ER, Sapanis..6,Sanmartean..6, Mitou..5 all play average. IMO Sapanis should be left in.

CM: Gonzales..9.....words are not enough...by far the signing of the season

LM: Moris..5,Munch...6 and Konstandinidis..6 rotate this spot. Munch has recently stood out

LF:Bykowski..6 a suprising player doesn't have the consistency yet but could turn out to be the surprise of the year

CF: Konstantinou..6 has sucked all last year and the beginning of this year. Now that his contract is up he is starting to play well again. If PAO resigns him I'm going to change teams.

RF:Papadopoulos..7 and Olizadebe..9 rotate hear if Oli was healthy Konstantinou would be pushed out of the front 3.

worst player(s): Moris, Kyrgiakos, Mitou,Galinovic, Halkias. Epale, Maric,Adric,Zoutaoutas,Deba, Raguel
best players:Gonzales,Bydra,Skacel,Olizadebe,Sapanis
Best signing:Gonzales
Best potential signing:Gekas-ST(Kallithea-scored in every game he has played this season)

[Voltaic Borusse]

Borussia Dortmund:

GK: Warmuz (6.5) - Made some critical and cheeky PK saves in the Intertoto Cup and League, but alas, stupid mistakes from the crappy back four often over-shadowed and hampered his thunder.

GK: Weidenfeller (7) - Probably the most consistent Dortmund player on the field. Saved Dortmund's ass on numerous occasions during the last 4 or 5 games. Saved 79% of shots on goal - "a league best". His heroics got Warmuz relegated to the bench.

D: Bergdolmo (3.5) - Quite a versatile player, but that all means Carlos shit when you've got the vigor of a 60-year-old. One of Dortmund's worst players this year.

D: Demel (5.5) - One of the better defenders on the team, but not by much. Loses the ball too often.

D: Madouni (4.5) - Has had better seasons with Dortmund. Still pretty young and has a lot to learn.

D: Worns (5.5) - Showing signs of deterioration, but an experienced presence at the back, nonetheless.

D: Jensen (4) - Should've stayed at Manchester City.

D: Brzenska (5) - Strong and bulky at the back. One of Dortmund's younger prospects -- got promoted from the A-Team because of injuries woes.

M: Kehl (4) - Dortmund's very own spice-boy. He's toned his temper down this year, but hasn't impressed much.

M: Dede (4.5) - Poor and inconsistent for most of the 1st half of the season despite being played out of his prefered position. Has had better years with Dortmund -- needs a change of scenery.

M: Rosicky (4.5) - Read what I said about Dede.

M: Kringe (5) - Another one of Dortmund's youngster prospects. Doesn't provide enough service to the fowards, but the strikers can't finish so it all works out well.

M: Oliseh (5) - Average at best, pretty good at taking set pieces.

F: Koller (4) - Koller's shittiest season yet. Hasn't scored in the last 8 games, I believe.

F: Ewerthon (3.5) - Read what I said about Koller. Also, a fucking ball hog and very selfish, and missed a crucial PK in the DFB Cup. Can't finish to save his life. He started out the season very well, too.

F: Odonkor (4) - A promising young foward. His lightning pace is the equivalent of that of a race horse. Needs to learn how to control the ball and finish his shots. Didn't play enough this season because of an injury, but I'll give him a 4 because of his first ever European goal against KRC Genk in the Intertoto Cup.

Baia 7 ---continues to be a very good goalkeeper. has ****ed up yet this season.

Nuno 7 ---been an amazing back-up for Baia.

Seiataridis 7.5 ----got off to a bad start, but the guy is a rock at defending. You cannot get by him.

Jorge Costa 8 ---has stepped it up with Carvalho leaving

Pedro Emamanuel 9----OUR BEST DEFENDER this season

Pepe- 5 i'm really dissapointed

Areias- 3 utter ****

Ricardo COsta 7 ---CB playind LB. done an excellent job

Costinha 6 ----needs to regain his form

Maniche- 8 this guy never stops. TOP MIDFIELDER . ONE OF THE WORLD"S BEST.

Diego 7 Hot and Cold

Quaresma-7 same as Diego

Carlos Alnberto- 6 Hot and cold

Psotiga-- 5 has lost all his confidenceThank you Tottenham for ******* up a top prospect.

Benni (10)-- Prob the most underated
striker in the world
