i'm like 100% sick of my top players inablility to finish. 20 shots on goal, 10 on target (other 10 go over the bar!) and the other 10 on target prolly went straight to the keeper. thx to that in seriie A, my milan are 7th with 9 games, 6 draws, 1 loss and 2 wins!

at least they started scoring now, but i think its being fixed in EP 2

also players who i dont instruct to take the most long shots (i've told no player to shoot from far) and they ALWAYS dont score!

i score a realistic amount of goals. Owen no longer scores 30 goals in 18 appearences like on CM4. Personally i dont see a problem.

yup. Maybe some more realy bad shots (like in real life) instead of havin so many shots goin just over the bar would be better

i think ur right, it does seem a bit more reallistic, but its annoying to hav 30 shots on goal every game and only score 1 or 2 yet the opposition always take their chances and score on their 1st or 2nd chance. this happens nearly every game and is quite frustrating when uv whalloped a team yet draw 1-1 or even lose................. it would be better if they had to hav a similar amount of opportunities against u, b4 they scored too. except maybe the best teams. who would take a lot of chances...................

i think the goals ratio is spot on for my team. it just winds me up iv got to take 20-30 shots to get a goal, but the opposition scores on 1st or 2nd chance................. if their chances to goals ratios was similar to mine, then its fair. it aint fair that even though i whup teams regularly (teams like wolves, bolton, leeds), yet i end up with a draw cos theyve scored with their one chance. i wouldnt mind if this happened every once in a while, cos it does in real life, but its every bloody game now........................

i agree with ralf. i get like 20 or so attempts a game and only get like 10 on target and like 1 or 2 goals quite often. then the oppostion will score 2 against the run of play. also then seem to score so many long shots but my players can't for the life of them score. they got good attributes ( i got a world class milan team that i've built up over 4 seasons) and i've only scored like 3 long shots and 2 were in friendlies! its pathethic when u need to score one goal nad u get ppl like gatusso who shooting from anywhere and dont even get it on target, not just once, butl ike 4 times in a match! and the marking of my defenders pathetic in game ieven tho they have like 17 marking and above!

also, goalies seldomly tips the ball around the post of corners etc, they normally parry it back into play, silly hey?

yeah im havin a problem with this bug too for my first 3 seasons it was fine won the premiership twice and won the champions league once now in my 4th season they cant score and my mid-fielders shoot from miles out and always put it over and van nistelrooy cisse etc from 8yrds puttin it over the bar now im 3rd 13 points behind because of the bug 30 shots no goals its just not possible

well i dunno now if its a bug, it is a TAD realistic. and players go through patches when they can't score. but when all the players in your team go through that phase @ the same time, that means 20 attempt, 10 on target, 0 goals

that pisses me off

I had 30 shots in one game.... 12 on target... Won 6-0 vs. Everton, but still.... 15 shots over the cross bar from 6 yards is pretty unrealistic when all my strikers have at least 18 finishing.

That was my lucky day though... sometimes I have only like 12 shots, and 2 or 3 on target so then I dont score at all

Also don't you think it's really easy to score from corners.... wether its me or the other team, the ball is tapped in like 80% of the time

yea they said less 'power' shots and more placed ones so less shots go over the bar and the players with good finish should get more on target/more goals.

i'm sure they sorted it out, coz its one frustrating bug!

I have to agree with Tom, in real life most shots aren't scored either. I still had scored about 80 goals with Liverpool (! !) in my first season

i get about 60 odd goals in a season. but sitter like that simply aren't missed as often by worldclass players in real life.

i hardly score of corners but i concede alot from them. and long range efforts, my keepers (no matter who) always suck at stopping them. i pisses me off when someone shoots from somewhere and they just stand still and watch it go in. even if the ball is moving slow-ish
