Those who get slowdowns while on cutscenes try these.

Open the three files cfg_pc_ on notepad or any other text editor.

Search for those lines there:
DISABLE_DOF = 0
DISABLE_POSTFX = 0

Change the 0 to 1 so it stays:
DISABLE_DOF = 1
DISABLE_POSTFX = 1

Close and save

Gonna loose some new visual effects like Field of view but should play a lot smoother.

Still getting the odd split second screen freeze and still getting the jerky screen at kickouts, looks like horizontal splits when kicking the ball out ...



P4 2Ghz 1GbDDR 80GB HD GF6600GT 128mb card ...

Any way to get rid of the jerky screen and little freezes ? Cut scence run fine but at kickouts and it would seem when the ball is in flight there is a little lag ... even on 800x600..

What can I do , do I need to change other files ????

I had to disable AA (AntiAliasing) to get rid of choppy cut scenes. I am not happy without AA tho.

disable cinematics then or try changing colour bit to 16bit... works!

i tried changing to 16 bit but then the player names and badges at bottom of screen end up in the middle of the screen and very small.

I commend you people. EA again release a poor demo and you try everyway to improve it.

Ea need to understand how fortunate they are to have such loyal customers.

I tried with the demo but the gameplay wasn't up to the standards i expect without mentioning the competition. Not only that but there was no in game adjustments for changing the difficulty and improving the graphics.

I hope you enjoy your game on release but i am off to play the competitions version.
