thanks to google's gmail, yahoo and hotmail are or had already increased their size....

hotmail is going for 250mb in july :rockman:

"Microsoft will now boost storage to 250 megabytes for users of its free MSN Hotmail and also increased the size of attachments that can be sent with e-mails, to 10 megabytes from 1 megabyte previously. Users of the free MSN Hotmail before had 2 megabytes of storage capacity."

my storage space in yahoo is still 6mb they didnt give me 100mb yet. but its good to know that the mail size is increased.

I'm just using google mail...

The interface is nice, and they're still working on it...

There's a few things I don't like, like they don't show the size of the email and don't show the email address of the received message in the inbox...

Oh well, hopefully they'll fix it.

1gb of storage is sweet (H)

I only use my web based address for MSN, other than that I use another non web based email account for a more private and more 'work' related issue. Even so, I don't see the need to have so much storage space, not that it is a bad thing... and MSN evidently doesn't use JUST hotmail addresses, so I could use my non web based email account for msn if I wanted to, and still have more storage space than MSN, google or yahoo.

My storage space is my Hard drive... its a lot easier than logging onto the internet and searching for a specific email.... anything I have on the web just gets deleted... I never trust it... and I have more room on my HDD also. Microsoft outlook works fine for me.

The majority of the mail I get is garbage, so I can careless if they've raised the storage capacity or not.

Though, it is a bit pleasing to see MS backed up into a corner and forced to compete.

Hell yeah! I feel bad for all the people who dont have gmail. Anyway, why go to Hotmail for 250mb, when you can go to Yahoo for 1000mb? Or is it only 100mb?
