only cam back to fifa this year, been playing pro evo since pro ev 2... this year i can safely say that FIFA is the winner - its still got a good few annoying glitches but overall its the better game....

only advantage PES ever had over fifa is graphics.

Fifa 08 is the best game this year. Even the old gen PC version has better gameplay.

I've been a long time PES gamer but this year I converted to Fifa. Much more realistic.

I play both indoor and outdoor football and PES resembles indoor a lot more. Fast and fun. While Fifa is totally like real outdoor footbal. Slow and all about strategy and making the right move at the right time.

True! But i have to disagree with you on the graphics, pes 6 looks like fifa 2002 to me not to mention the earlier ones. And i simply cannot understand the gameplay comments on fifa and pes, for me fifa is football, pes is just like some poor game about football not even a football game. I try and play fifa as real life football, it can be played in a way to look a bit unrealistic but if you fell football and want to play in the game the same way and really enjoy fifa is the only game that can give that to you, on pes i fell like i am on some 500m X 250m pitch playing against 4 not 11 players and both teams run abnormally fast, the game play is more like table football or pinball than like real football, and the movements, oh the movements and the gestures... omg... this is something i simply cannot understand how it's possible to make it so unrealistic, i mean those smiles, that running, the stance,their bodies hahahah like caricatures!!!! hahahahah, maybe that's what konami are making a game for kids, something like that mode in fifa 08 on wii where you juggle the ball with ronaldinho (havent played it so i dont know how it's called).
I am simply amazed how anybody in this world can say that Pes is more reallistic than Fifa, i can understand when somebody says better(they like it more and they have a right on their opinion) but more realistic, maybe if you're drunk and you're comparing fifa 98 with pes 2008!!!:junior:
