Too easy to score....

I dunno about you lot but i find i sooo easy to score long rangers on Fifa 2004. all u have to do is be a little out side box, hold power to 3/4 and aim slightly to 1 way, its piss easy, too easy.
Now, im not saying i wont it to be near impossible to score from range, infact scoring form range is fun and realistic, but i just think that for fifa 2005 they definatly should make it a bit harder some way or another, and yes i do have it on world class.

whats with everyone and giving the constant reminders, and in a lot of other cases, getting angry at repeat topics. If anything thats more annoying than the topic itself.

arrr yes, the world of FIFA 2004...


obsolute C.R.A.P! I haven't played the game in ages now, so boring. :( I do know my last game had me score 4 long rangers in a row though, HOW REALISTIC! (how rubbish more like).

MAYBE, just MAYBE an 8 yr old would struggle with the shooting system, but for those that have a fully development brain, it doesn't really seem very tactical, or strategic now does it? :rolleyes:

Yeah, great suggestion. How realistic. Just don't score when you know you can, just to try and keep the score down. YOU SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO DO IT!

Let's see, you're playing a game, 1-0 down with two minutes left. Deciding title game of the season and you can score a goal to win the championship but no, you decide not to because you want to score a different way than normal. WTF? You try playing PES3/WE7 and see what happens if you try using the same player or shooting from the same area too much, they double team you, close you down, change their formations all to counteract your tactics. The CPU should evolve to stop you being able to shoot from long range not allow you to score 4 or 5 45 yard efforts per game.

The keeper for the computer team isn't good enough and thats why I find it's so easy to shoot from long range. I have never played PES3 but I want to because it sounds very good.

i love how you can dribble straight up the middle and score. As long as you dont sprint the defenders wont come at you.


And does it seem like almost every goal is exactly the same? With only a few varying spots where the ball will go in?

all EA games have a swet spot to score from, in wc 02 it was long shots, in nhl 2001 it was skating up the right side and wrist shots, in nhl 2003 it was one-timers, and in fifa 2004 its long shots.......theres always a trick to scoring, if u dont like it, dont take them, i always try to score from crosses, if it doesnt work, then just take a long shot..........dont like it?, go play PES....
