1) Did you make a backup, please restore ! Then config again and start game.
2) Try installing .NET 3.5 and start EA FIFACONFIG.EXE.

I have .NET 3.5, but EA FIFACONFIG.EXE still does not want to open. I literally did everything to start that config file but nothing helped. So that add-on tool was my only available option and i waited for it soo long ...

First when i installed the tool i didn't make a backup, but then i reinstall it again and i made a backup, now when i restore and then config again and start the game ... the result is the same - it stops on the first screen with Kaka. :(

Please help me i am really screwd up with that game!

Edit: When i delete the files in FIFA 11 folder in My Documents the game starts from FIFA.EXE, just like it before, so the problem i think is somewhere in the add-on tool ... ?

First of all, thanks for the amazing tools Monkey Dragon. FIFA would not be the same if it weren´t you and Rinaldo. I am having the same problem here. Game crashes before it starts on Kaká´s first screen. I tried to restore the back but the game still didn´t work so I needed to unistall and then install the complete game again. Is there a solution for this problem? God I was really looking foward for this amazing tool.

Download and install GAME TWEAKER 0.6. It seems bug in v0.7

@Blazerr: You made backup right after you can't start game, that's the problem. Now you can make another backup and try configuring. Then tell me result !

It doesn't solve the problem! It's the same again.

I've deleted the files in FIFA 11 folder in My Document, made a backup, config my controls and video settings, saved them, then i started FIFA.exe and again it crash on Kaka first screen.

I reinstalled this tool already a few times, looks like the problem is with the .ini files which it creates in My Documents folder, because when i delete them it doesn't crash ...

PLS HELP!

OK man ! I deleted that topic ! It seems we have to config with fifaconfig.exe first to create correct INI, then with this tool.

Now, the final try:

Let's download this file and put to Documents\FIFA 11\, then run tool, config and tell me.

I configured controls and settings and this time it worked just how it supposed to work!

Just one more think: i have a normal PC configuration, but the game just don'y run smoothly and it lags a bit on High level and 1280x1024 resolution (wihtout V-Sync) ... so how can i lose the lags and make it run better ?

It´s simple, google it. But I´ll help you, all you have to do is check entirely this thread. There´s two files (data0.bh and settings.lua), that optimize the game with customizable parameters. Go explore, good luck. :rolleyes:

I am using this tool, but still i can't enter in the Controller settings menu in My Fifa, so i can't adjust the shooting and passing to be manual or assisted ... is there any way i can do that, cause when i try go to there it says i should re-enter with the controler i want to adjust .... i know this is again cause i can't open the original fifaconfig.exe, but MonkeyDragon is there any way i can adjust those things ? Or maybe someone could give me the .ini file with everything done ?
