1. Small stadiums. You hear the fat bastard in the 9th row belching stout beer!

2. Shot placement, high and low.

3. Mexican clubs - any Mexican club!

4. Will aggravate WE7/PES lovers to no end.

5. Promotion and relegation, plus lower divisions - how long have we dreamt of that.

6. More intuitive off-the-ball movement - the missing piece of the puzzle.

7. Stamford Bridge, whoo-yah!

8. Rushden and Diamonds versus Wigan

9. Computer makes its own substitutions.

10. It will aggravate the WE7/PES goats.

I respect your post Reg Wright, because finally for once people have stopped bitching and being pessimistic and look at the good that FIFA will have to offer! (I personally would replace "Mexican" for "Portuguese" on number 3, but that's cuz I'm partial) ;)

I aint supposted to post these yet but give you guys a look before everyone else.. although these shots are from tcm, they use the same engine so i guess we can find some way to port them over. There are a few shots of small stadiums and the last oen is apparently the stadium editor

1 - Yes, of course you will. Keep dreaming.
2 - Whoopee freaking doo! Only 10 years behind Konami's International Superstar Soccer on the N64 then!
3 - What the world has been waiting for. If the world happens to be Mexico.
4 - I think I can safely speak for all WE/PES fans and say it will "amuse" us that you're excited about being able to do things for the first time that we've had for years.
5 - Agree.
6 - If you want to believe that claim along with last years "total ball control" claim. Wait until you play the demo to see whether this is BS or not.
7 - Good if you support Chelsea obviously.
8 - Yeah great! Who needs the missing Portuguese premier teams when you have Rushden and Diamonds!
9 - See response number 2.
10 - Believe me, there is nothing FIFA can do that can remotely aggrevate any WE/PES fan. I'd rather only have 64 teams to choose from and have near perfect gameplay than 1,000 teams who all play the same and with a game engine which is struggling to bypass the FIFA 98 version!! Progress in gameplay means going forward not emulating the past.

Points which excite you and possibly three other people in the world other than point 5.

Top 15 Alternative Activities for WE7 Fanboys (to spare the mild annoyance they cause us here)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Head over to The Wolf's House for the much-celebrated weekly WE7 tournament, followed by an engaging round of Hide the Salami!

2) Enjoy a game of WE7 - Newchuckle United versus Coyotehampton.

3) Floss your teeth with your mother's pubic hair.

4) Get a mirror, and have a game of Bobbing for Reflections.

5) Your tried and tested Circle Jerk. To keep your hobby fresh, try a Trapezoid Jerk.

6) Enjoy a few arsenic spritzers, on the house.

7) Organize your canned goods in alphabetic order.

8) Women - a very worthwhile pursuit. Besides, you've all exhausted the sheep. But remember, if you pay her by the hour, she's not a girlfriend, per se.

9) Form a band! Name suggestions: The PaperCuts With Vinegar, the Knob Gobblers.

10) Spontaneous combustion.

11) Play in thick traffic.

12) Impale yourself on a rusty fork.

13) Fashion a voodoo doll bearing the likeness of Pierre Heintz.

14) Read a little. A double digit IQ is not beyond your reach! And remember: it's embarassing when your bath mat has more personality, intelligence and savvy than you.

15) Try - really make an earnest effort - to find something better to do with your time than come here with 10,000 posts behind you and try and sell mittens to snakes. We really, really don't care what you think.

guess what...other people besides Mexicans would really like seeing this league in the game.

And it is a damn shame that the best CONCACAF league, and 3rd best league on this side of the world, isnt in the game.

Val, i agree with you,. however, this time the "fanboy" DOES make a decent, acknowledgable point from which you cannot turn away.
But still, there are diff. forums for a reason.

I`ve got WE7 and the game improved in gameplay and graphics a lot. That`s the good stuff, the bad stuff is, the CPU cheats more and yeah on some occasiation I`ve seen a kinda scripted gameplay. But the game is decent IMO, if not better than WE6.

Anyway, will you buy FIFA 2004 ? Or at least try the demo ? Cos` I wanna know your opinion about it, and I only think you`re the only one here who can give the best and most honest review.

I'm hoping FIFA 2004 is gonna kick ass. Seriously. Although I'm more than happy with WE7 I really want FIFA 2004 to be great. I've had every FIFA since the first release on the Genesis/Megadrive system and if the demo plays ok when it's released I'll go ahead and buy FIFA 2004 too.
