Top clubs take new creations

Can anyone help with this problem I've encountered?

I create a new player in the editing section and set their ability to superman standards. I then give them a really long contract (until 2013 for example) in the hope that this player will do great things for many years to come. But when you start the game the player has a clause in his contract which will allow him to leave for a certain fee (usually in the region of £2million). A top club then offers the fee required (or more) and he is able to sign for them without you being able to reject the bid.

I've tried offering the player a new contract (without the clause), but you are'nt able to sign them on a really long contract (until 2013 for example). Usually the player only accepts a 1 year contract.

I've also tried to get rid of the bid by demanding £30million when a top team makes an offer (in the hope that they give up). But eventually, they make a bid which allows the player to leave (which is usually in the region of £2million).

you cant do that long contracts, its unrealistic and the game sets like a validation check so that if any 'stupid' contract is given, so is a min fee release cause

Stop being silly and next time give them a contract till 2007 or summet

But how will I be able to dominate for many years to come? (The player will eventually reject contract extensions - with top clubs chasing him).

ok mate, fill me in, what club are you and how good is this player? 5'20's? all 20's?

I wanted to start in a small league and take a team through the divisions (all the way to the top), so I began with Cannes in France. I set this particular player as a 20 (as a forward only, not in other positions). I then set every attribute as a 20 (accept for the Goalkeeping ones).
I then created several other new players in various positions (similar to before).

There is this one option. You can give him a future transfer to your club in say... 2020. He'll have a short contract, with release fee, but remain at the club on temporary one month contracts until the new one starts. Other clubs can't sign him, because he already signed a new deal with you.

That's an even dirtier trick than creating an all 20s player, though.

Or u could just give him a normal contract and extend it using a save game editor

yeah the best way of doing it is like i say, make em all have ones until about 2008 and make sure all of them are EU nationaility, then do what papa says and use MCM0304 to extend all your players contracts, you can find MCM0304 at www.mindcompression.com

I'm not one of them! I've lost about a few games in 8 years of playing (i counted maybe 300). But I have done my share of winning! I managed Italy to the the world cup after a threepeat by Man U and taking Cambridge United to a UEFA Cup spot. I've never been able to finish a second season in the CM3/4 era games to this day however

don't bother see player guide to buy good and cheap players.
I did that was searching for about 2 weeks talents i wasn't playin
and now i have a champions league and ronaldinho alan smith reyes and many other good players. I am in year 2008.
I play with Panathinaikos.

P.S When a club has financial difficutlies get a player for very low cost. I did that with leeds. I got smith for 2million euro when his value was 14 million.

yeah good advice, with a bit of time you'd be suprised how many good cheap players you can buy.

My mates can never believe how i play CM so slowly, but its because i look at other teams etc..

yeah, but I'm sure that 2/3 who play CM are cheating. And Im not talking about cheating one time or 2, but cheating ALL the time. And I'm 100% sure about that

mr Alex speaks a lot of truth.

I cheat in the fact i use CMScout, hence that is effectivly cheating, but i dont cheat cheat
