Tottenham to sign Puyol?

Hahahaha, just seen on SkySports News that Spurs have made a bid for Puyol.

It's Rivaldo all over again...just when you think they're finally turning the corner they go and make laughing stocks of themselves again.

Since Ramos took over, every player in Spain has been linked with Tottenham. Every day there's a new story about how some Sevilla player is going to follow Juande Ramos to England.. rubbish.

Spurs (sadly) won't be able to break in top 4 this season, they're simply too many points away from the 4th spot.
But next season they will do it.

This season Everton, Villa and ManCity will contend Liverpool for it though..


As for Puyol, he won't be going to Spurs, simply because he is Barca's captain , he won't leave the team for one good EPL-team bid.
PLus Spurs have King and Dawson, that are better central-backs as of EPL standards than Puyol, imo.

King and Dawson are like babies to Puyol.


I won't say anything about Everton, Villa, Man City having a chance to break into top four because anything can happen, but it is still HIGHLY unlikely, you are underestimating Liverpool a lot.

yeah but they're definitely not gonna get someone like Puyol. And I don't see who would want to buy Robinson at this point...
