Francesco Totti replied to Emerson from the Untied states last evening and he didn't have words of friendship for his former team mate that played with him for four years.
"The thing about money shows you what kind of man he is and it’s there to be seen," the Roma captain said. "He can say what he wants because I really don’t care he is insignificant to me".

"I don’t want to hear him speaking badly of Roma though because he has no right to do so," he added. "Now he is part of the past and we’ll have more fun winning against Juve knowing that he’s going to lose".

He speaks the truth though, there are very few tru pro's who aren't dictated by money. Totti's one of those few - his great loyalty to Roma can only be admired. The Madrid thing came about when he was asked if Roma were in a position when selling him was the only option and if so would he go and who to. He stated that if selling him was the only option then he would go, but only to two teams - Real Madrid and Barcelona.

clearly the man i met 2 yrs ago isnt a kind hearted man like he once was. fkn ell seriously i think he is soo stupid making those comments. i mean emerson wanted to go to juve not for the money. heck it was juve that wanted to pay a smaller amount for him. so money has nothing to do with it!!:kader:

Ok, Emerson had a year left in his contract. He obviously wouldn't have renewed.

Instead he left this year and Roma got 12 Million + Brighi for him.

If anything Emerson helped Roma get some much needed cash.



Totti is a chronic whiner. He always has something to say about everything.

The fact that he even bothered to say all that goes to show how much he thinks Roma are going to miss Emo in the middle of the park.

And his comment about it being all about the money is false. If Emerson was all about the money he would have accepted Chelsea's, Madrid's or Inter's offers.

Oh please, the reason Emerson would only go to Juve was that he had a Verbal contract which was made behind Romas back to join Juventus. If I were Totti I would be pissed too! Juve pulls to much **** behind other clubs backs and I guess this year its Roma.

*Sigh* But I guess after we destroyed them 4-0 last season the only thing they can do is take players that made is possibale.
