Can you continue to install the updates when you have tournaments in progress or does it cause problems?

Oh, looks like it means Career Mode. I have never once played career mode in FIFA. I only do tournaments. Besides, I wasn't asking about Career Mode, I was asking about Tournaments. But thanks anyway.
