Transfer Budgets

Does anyone know whether the transfer budgets change as you progress? If I start with a lower tier English team from League 1, and build them up to the BPL, will I always have a low budget, or does it improve if I actually succeed?

I played the crap out of FIFA12 Career Mode so I can tell you that even in FIFA12, they would give you ~20-30mil every season if you managed to get to the Premier League and stay there. With the new 'Request funds' button you might receive even more if you exceed their expectations. Hope that helps.

I was of the impression that the very wealthy clubs gave a budget of $30-70m. Do they jump or does everyone get closer? Is there an inflation factor built in? The reason I ask is that I'd like to bring a lower club all the way up, try to win the BPL and get into the Champions' League. But without a larger transfer and wage budget than the $525 k & $2k I got, I doubt it's a reality.Thanks for the info!
