Transfers interfere w/ patches?

Hello everyone, I have installed many patches through CM09 and have gotten to the point that I want to start in Manager Mode. Sometimes though after a match, mostly in the beginning of a season when it is still Transfer season, it will be on the screen of completing transfers and will get stuck at around 80%, the program does not kick me out all the way, but the music stops and I have to manually restart the game. This does not happen every time, occasionally but when it does I cannot get past that point in the season, doesn't matter if I sim the game or play it, it does the same thing. Anyone have similar problem?

May be there is sometthing wrng with the patch that cud coorupt the databse files of the game

i know for the patch i have, if i edit too many players or transfer too many players using "team management" and squad files, the game crashes on startup. i know this because when i delete my squad file folder in my documents, game starts fine. and when i do player transfers by editing my fifa.db file with CM, there's no crash. i think it's because the PC is loading too many things from the squad file

so its possible that too many transfers in a manager mode can have the same effect because the PC is having a hard time loading that many new transfers from your manager file in your documents folder. especially in a patch that has extra leagues and players
