trouble saving. HELP!

so right when i start it up and it asks what storage device i want to use, i click my hard drive which has 12 GB free. I click on it, and it does not have enough storage space to save?????? I just got my xbox 360 so there is practically nothing on the hard drive.

When i try to start like manager mode it says i need to "activate a lead fifa 07 profile" to be able to save it. I then go to profiler manager and try to set my profile as a lead, but once again there is not enough free space on my storage device again.

I know its not something wrong with my hardrive because i can save things to it from other games. So please someone tell me what to do if this happened to you.

there may be a problem with your hard drive in the manual they say that hard drives should not be exposed to excessive heat and stuff so maybe it was damaged some how. i reckon u should phone MS they will have to replace it bcoz it is brand new

I had the exact same problem and I almost went crazy trying to figure it out. Tho I think it fixes itself when you connect to xbox live and download all the updates.
