True? No Editing Kit Numbers in MM

On the Fifa09 forum, someone complained that you can't edit kit numbers in MM? I'm not sure if this is for the PC or consoles.

Can anyone clarify?

I wish it was the other way around.

Last question, to the best of your knowledge do you believe if that I wait to purchase the game, say December, the error will be fixed in new console copies. Or does EA create a patch and offer it online?

How could you not edit kit numbers on the 360 version, this has been available in every other year so far. Why would they take that out?
