Trustmaster and off-ball? Right stick? Tell me how?

I am aware of the fact that this problem is well known, but I can't seem to solve it.

I have a Thrustmaster Analog Dual Power and I can't understand how to turn the "Off-ball control" function on. I know there has been a problem with the right stick and I have modified the registry accordingly, but I don't know if it works or if I'm just not doing it right.

this should work

In the registry find
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro
l\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\V
ID_044F&PID_B303

The numbers on the end, VID(vendor), PID(product) will be slightly different for different controllers. Check yours in the System Info application, look under components->usb.

So, under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro
l\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\V
ID_044F&PID_B303

add an Axes key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro
l\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\V
ID_044F&PID_B303\Axes

and then a key with the name 4 (for axis 4):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro
l\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\V
ID_044F&PID_B303\Axes\4

and add a binary value called Attributes
with the value 00 00 00 00 01 00 36 00

likewise for axis 5:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro
l\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\V
ID_044F&PID_B303\Axes\5

and add a binary value called Attributes
with the value 00 00 00 00 01 00 35 00

Temo, I edited my reg and i did what you said. I have 2 Playstation 2 controllers through a USB hub and i found them in the regedit. I still couldn't get the right analogue stick to work.

Sorry mate, I just copied those instructions from another place and they worked for me and a few others. (Other gamepads may have different solutions.)

What do you do after you change everything?? just exit??

Should you then use a thrustmapper program to tell the right analog to be these new axis??

should i name them something.. for example.. key 0 and 1 which were already in my folder... (i'm 304 by the way.. for dual power 2) have X and Y for the default names *under data*

i just tested mine after doing what you said and it doesn't work.. i added 4 and 5 in the axes folder.. and put the attributes that you said...

so now i have the folders 0, 1, 4, and 5 under axes ... ... 0 and 1 have defualt, attributes, and ffattributes for force feedback... and 4 and 5 which i made have default and attributes .. the defualt was there and the attributes i made like you said...

but 0 and 1 have X axis and Y axis for names under the default ... while the new 4 and 5 that I made just says (Value not set) .. should I name them, like two new axes'??

or is it that i need thrusmapper so that I can tell the right analog to use these new axes' i just made??

just trying to understand a little more.. and get them to work..

Thanks
