I was a big fan about 4 years ago (he hasn't done Carlos **** since), but I've subsequently found out that most of his stories are lies, so I soured considerably. Still think he's funny, but not a big fan of the guy.

Same. Movie sucked, but the stories were pretty good until I found out some, if not most were overly exaggerated or flat out lies.

I'm prone to liking these sort of characters and movies, but the movie was really crap. While I appreciate the pick-up artist mentalities, Tucker Max is really just a dick. (based on the definitely fictional movie, I haven't followed his work).

I assumed most were exagerations whilst reading...Maybe it's the Aussie scpetic coming out in me, as opposed to the American 'used to real life drama' in you Shifty...

Book was ok (apart from the obvious exagerations), movie was sh!t.
