The authorities have suspended Emre Aþýk of Beþiktaþ and our substitute goalkeeper Volkan Demirel for their misconduct during the Beþiktaþ-Fenerbahçe derby of Week 11.
Emre was spotted by cameras provoking Marcio Nobre while Volkan has been punished for making gestures to the home crowd. Both players will miss the next two games.

John Carew has escaped punishment by the Professional Football Discipline Committee.

Beþiktaþ JK have also been fined 7.5billion Turkish lira for foul chanting by the crowd.

Carew didnt do anything wrong, he just stepped on hes foot...

If I am not mistaking Carew have steped on Van Hojdonk's foot, but at the end of the match both players were hugging and congradulating each other. The ref should of gave Carew a yellow card in the match but other than that the TTF can't do anything else to Carew.

Looking on from an un-biased point of view man, Carew should have gotten at least a red.

Emre should have gotten more game suspension, and I never saw what Volkan did.

You have a point there, eventually to get a red card a player has to make a tackle that might injure the other player. There are other ways to get a red car but come on man, just steping on his foot, even a warning should do it, in a tense game like that the ref should calm the players by warning them and talking to them, and also the ref should get the 2 players and make them appologize to each other. But a dangerouse tackle is a different story, give him the red card right away, no excuse.

He said Volkan was shouting at the BJK fans thats why he got the suspension.

Sen turkiye'de yasiyorsunuz dimi? Inglizcen cok iyi aslinda.

Im not a fan of Besiktas or anything i just like to watch them play and the style of Turkish league :)

Well thanks for the complement :D

The Turkish league is more competitive now than it was 10 years ago. Now days the small clubs will not play defensive any more as they use to defend only against the big clubs, Besiktas started slow this year but they are improoving in the league. How ever I believe that Besiktas has the best quality players in the Turkish league. I mean Carew, Pancu, Okan, Ibrahim Akin, Ibrahim Uzulmez, Tayfun, Tumer, Sergen, Ahmet Hassan... They are all great players. Vicente del Bosque needs to learn how to use these players.

If Sergen took care of himself, didn't drink smoke and gamble he could play on any team in the world, Ibrahim Akin is AMAZING, but Carew sucks. Carew has no ball control, his headers are horrible considering how tall he is. Carew was a big big waste of money, he sucks just like Van Hooijdonk does now.

I know Sergen is a big gambler and probably he drinks too but I never new that he smoked. He could of been the best Turkish player if he took care of himself.

Oh for sure man, I don't only think the best Turkish player, but one of the top players in the world.

and yes he did have a problem with smoking once too.

Teachnically he is amazing, when he plays, he doesn't seem like a typical turkish player
