TV Shows aka Sir Didier being upset that non-hipsters like Game of Thrones

Seeing as your watching this season of Dexter, would you recommend it?

I was so disappointed with last season, that I sort of decided to wait until this season was almost over

This season is much better, but its best days are over. It's still a good show, but not the same as the first couple of seasons where it was unpredictable and suspenseful.

That said, this season is a huge improvement from last season.

So, Christmas is the only time of year where I actually watch TV shows, usually get a DVD boxed set or two.

This year I have been watching Ken Burns' fantastic documentary The Civil War which is absolutely fascinating. Also Band of Brothers which I only caught little bits of when it was on TV and I was young, and which is really very good so far. Did anyone watch The Pacific, was that any good?

I used to watch Adult Swim and when that show came on it meant it was time to change the channel. I can't believe that **** is still on tv.

I really tried liking that, I really really did. I love awkward humour, but that was just... words. SNL have had great sketches with awkward humour, and I can generally get behind left-field, out-of-the-box, midgets-on-pancakes sketches but that wasn't good.

I have been watching The Walking Dead and Burn Notice. Good shows although I heard The Walking Dead is different from the comics.

Surely you're not suggesting SNL is ****ty? (in it's entire history).

It has sucky moments, and has had sucky seasons, but it aklways has some pearls, and used to be legendary. Come on, Tina Fey, Darrel Hammond, etc. And that's my generation, Eddie Murphy, Chris Farley, Chris Rock, Lithgow (I think)...

Dexter's season finale was mouthwatering. The show definitely picked up the pace in the last few episodes and went out on its break with a bang...man this is gonna be a long wait

American Horror Story is an interesting show too. A bit ****ed up but I like how it makes me wonder what the hell is actually going on in that house...also, that (young) housekeeper is incredibly hot.

Started watching Blue Mountain State last week or so and it cracks me up.
The pocket pussy episode is pure gold!
