good idea starting this thread dude (Y)

well Portugal's debut was surprisingly crappy considering the players we have in the squad....have to improve A LOT in case we wanna go far in the competition.

we have loads of talent but if they don't play together as a team, the results are what we saw tonight :(

Only 8 teams in the whole tournament? Should have been twice as many.

Well, anyway. I think Portugal will win the tournament, even though they lost their opening match. They usually have very good youth teams, and they also play at home.

I wish I could watch one match of this tournament. It's not shown on German TV.

yep, Palladino with a goal and 2 assists. We should take him back pronto!
Italy missed a lot of chances, could of won that game easily.

Eeeeehm won the game easily? Hmmm do you remember the last 30 minutes of the first half, we were in full control. What I'm trying to say is that we could have won the game too so the draw was a fine result. I am a bit dissapointed with the result because last time Italy beat us in the play offs and they won it on away goals and the away goal was even scored by the former under 21 keeper, Stephen Andersen so some of the players who were in the team back then should be eager for revenge

Fair enough. We started slower but came out full force in the 2nd. Too many missed opportunities but a great game.

As far as i know, there are a lot of so-called Ukranian "gastarbeiters" in Portugal. As well as Russian ones, though.
