Drogba are u serious??/
He should get suspended for the rest the season by chelsea.
Yes your up set but have to say you were well able to run after the ref without falling down.

Seriously shoutin down a camera what he did???
He is the disgrace and i honestly beleive chelsea are a disgrace.

For example look at frank lampard shook Barca players hands exchanged jerseys didnt go once near the ref

The ref dosnt mean to have a bad game like dani alves didnt mean to have a bad game or like essien didnt mean to mis-kick the ball to gift it to messi

Agree.

THIS IS JUSTICE GUYS! JUST JUSTICE!

You can't defend with 11 players 180 minutes. You just can't.

correction: Chelsea was lucky in a first leg Barca was so lucky in a second leg.

Barca dominated first leg, Chelsea did the second (at least not in terms of posession). IMO, we should have gone through but when you have a referee like that in place, I know its not gonna happen. This is ******* heartbreaking.

I'll try to admit you're right until the referee part. just tell me what was against chelsea tonight, and after that remember the ref in first leg. You're wrong but I understand you. I said. Pique was penalty but the rest are pieces of ****.

It's not like Pique could have avoided making contact with the ball, his arm was already there when the ball hit it.

But i do think Piqué should have been cautious in not keeping his arm raised like that, to avoid a probable contact with the ball.

"Luck" won this time, like it did for Chelsea in the first leg. But i have to admit: i'll be much happier to see Barcelona in the final, instead of Chelsea. Their football is so much atractive and we most not forget: they played without their two starting CB's, one of which the 'heart' of the team (Puyol).

BTW: Messi owns C. Ronaldo, anyday

It was a normal reaction, he should have ****ed the ref up! Hahaha
There's nothing unusual in Drogba's reaction, what has this world come to, a man being pissed for injustice is an idiot? WTF?
2 clear penalties weren't given to Chelsea.
And what is wrong with a little yelling? Suddenly everyone's sooooo sensitive. Then go knit or something.

After the game, a whirlwind of emotions came through me. Calming down and applying hindsight, I realized that it just wasn't meant to be for us tonight.

I'm sick of people saying we defended with 11 players on the night without actually watching the match.

Here are several points I would like to make to the idiots out there:

1. Barca are the best team in the world at possession football, you cannot outpass Barca, take the game against Utd for example last season, they were the best attacking team in England last season, but they were forced like we did over the two legs.
Those who say Chelsea just play to defend clearly haven't got a clue and just have a look at the live statistics instead of the match. Give credit to Barca, they forced us to play that way, even when they didn't have the ball, they pressured us tirelessly into giving away possession, I'm even suprised that even some Barca fans don't realize this.

2. Apart from the goal, Petr Cech did not have a save to make. Barca were ineffective for most of the match.

3. Yellow cards causing players to miss the final ruling is daft, I'm sure everyone agrees with me on this one. Yellow cards are very easy to collect, for the smallest offense you can get a cheap yellow card. I feel sorry Alves and Alex, he was probably the main threat from Barca as the other players were ineffective most of the match.

4. Football is game full of emotions, conceding a last gasp goal like that, and having had clear penalties turned down by the ref, of course as a player, emotions run high, and I'm sure when players calmed down afterwards they'd realize "I shouldn't have done that".
I understand Ballack's frustration(having gone thru so much in his career) and for Drogba, we all know what he's about, and I'm sure he'll regret it later.

As for the red card, I don't think Abidal deserved the red card for his coming together with Anelka but his first half-challenge on Drogba should've brought us a penalty, and the blatant handball by Pique, I can only assume the ref didn't see it, because that was a definite penalty.

That said, congratulations Barcelona. Now go on and win the damn thing.

but buti to be fair, you didn't have lots of chances in a first leg as well. you had possition but drogba had a best chance on that match as well.

Qualifying in a higher phase in a cup depends on two legs not only on the second one ;)

Just one more thing, you are referring just to the second match here.

Compare both matches please.

Why should I? This thread is for the 2nd leg, thats all where it counts, I don't give a toss about missed chances in the first leg. Barca didn't have penalty appeals turned down like we had. Oh great, now I'm being a bad loser all of a sudden. Can u please just shut up and bask in your team's glory.

I already gave Barca the complement they deserve, even if I'm still gutted about it.

Absolutely. Possession hardly matters.

Over the two legs Chelsea deserved to go through. But BARCA have gone through.
