I don't get the Chelsea optimism.
True, we beat you while you had a man down, but you didn't do anything special even while it was 11 v 11. As for the red, I don't see how someone can complain. Del Horno acted like a lunatic, and who could blame Messi for acting. It was against the Dirty Tricks team, so you gotta play dirty from time to time. I would usually be disappointed in Messi, but I'm not because last season's tie made me hate Mourinho so much that I even hoped we would win like this, leaving Mourinho with something to moan about.
As for the Chelsea domination (lol), it was only for a short period of time because we didn't play at full speed. I don't know why that happened, but as soon as the players saw where the result was going they turned it on and swept Chelsea aside.
Now, this was on a ruined "pitch". The return leg is at OUR home, in front of OUR fans, and on GRASS. I just can't see Chelsea getting even near qualification. I'm not underestimating them, it's just that our passing game destroyed them at SB, and now it will be easier on a new surface.
And the best thing is, YOU have to attack US in the Nou Camp. It couldn't have gone better for us.
And please refrain from insulting Hauge because that fool Del Horno is the guilty one. The ref wouldn't have given him a red if he hadn't made those challenges. It's unfortunate for you guys that Hauge didn't card him for the first reckless challenge, and then decided to make up for it after the second. But that's all that is, bad luck. Del Horno brought it on himself and on Chelsea.
Two penalties.
