ye its completely understandable why his form has dropped at the moment. But it just depends on how best he copes with it, whether a break would do him good or is it just best that he keeps on playing and works through it.

woah, over-reacting or what?! i know it was bad... but not THAT bad!
Fletcher played comparitively well imo, although we do need that extra spark in central midfield.
CRonaldo wasn't on TOP form today, but he most definately wasn't awful, its understandable that his form has dropped a bit after everything that has happened recently.

I agree, Park JS should have started, or at the very least come on with more time.
Ronaldo is class, and can deliver a killer ball. He had 3 or 4 defenders near him all game, and those defenders kicked lumps and elbowed the fu*k out of him. If my dad died, you wouldn't even see me near a football pitch at the moment.
Ruud Van Nistelrooy, ruined our attacking play? how many goals has he scored for us? Without Ronaldo and RVN we wouldn't be much of a team.

Giggs is past it, Scholes' legs aren't what they used to be, Fergusson seems to lack the courage to change things drastically.

Just got back from the game ¬_¬ . I expected to be watching a better man utd side. The best part of the match was when Park Ji Sung took the captains armband, he didn't understand that he shouldn't be captain. Darren Fletcher was telling him to take it off, and Park thought it was about the position and agreed

Yes, exactly, Ronaldo surely doesn't need to be playing. As for Scholes... we are so sentimental, players that got it done a few years ago, don't seem to be working anymore. As for Fletcher, from what I've seen, he's been up there leading the team. Its Fletch that has to cover for guys like Scholes. There is no doubt Scholesy was world-class a couple of years ago, look at his 02/03 season. But he doesnt have it anymore. All we do is sit back and say, without our top guys, we have no chance. Like you said Shez, if you don't have depth, buy it. Of course, we can't go out purchasing everyone we want. VDS proved a worthy transfer, even at his age. Who will cover for Ruud if he goes down long-term? Rooney? Rossi? Saha? Oh wait, Saha will have been already down and out, because he is made of crystal 
Rooney is awesome, but look at our other strikers. No doubt Rossi is good, but you can't put the guy out there in important matches and expect the man to dominate. Maybe in a few years he will be great, but we don't want to possibly ruin him.

what the hell was fergie doing untill the 80th minute.that gaffer never uses subs when we require them.look at mourinho, or ARSEne; they always sub to change the game. we had class talents like rossi,park and even blake who would have added that change in pace but the old man never used his f*cking subs!!!!!!!!!!
making subs in the 85th minute is no sense, first of all, it takes a player more than a couple of minutes to settle.
and why is scholes always on the first team list.i know people say that he is beyond his age. that is crap.we have players who are above 33 in europe who are still a class act. it's just an excuse for our players that they are now f*cking old.
Ronaldo is no more the player he was. and the deth of his father has no relation with his performance on the field.it's quite a time now and anyways,he would even feel to perform better in that case as a redemption for the sorrow of his father's death .
and to say it, Lille were a f*cking boring team.they never came to win. they constantly fouled our players and got booked least. the rf was a f*cking c*nt too.that arse should have shown red to a lille player not scholes.

i woudln't blame ruud in this match cause he has so far scored in the gams we have won and is up to his best. missing a couple of chances in this match does not make him a sh*tty player.
it's good luck to us that villareal are enjoying to draw every game so we are still top.but wth performances like this we'll get knocked out of the round of 16 too.
