have a feeling benfica's gonna take this one. not sure who's gonna score, but i just have a feeling that it's gonna happen. might not be the worst thing. would really help them focus on the premiership which is top priority if they get knocked out. it wouldn't be a catastrophe like it was last season when the team wasn't playing well.

I ditto that.

To be frank, I can't see Benfica winning in Old Trafford today. They will play like they played against Sporting. Counter-attacking. If Sir Alex watched the game well, make no mistake, but Benfica will be dominated. If Sir Alex didn't watch the game...yeah, Benfica has a chance. My predict is 1-1.

well, i don't think we have any illusions about being better than Man U. or anything, especially at Old Trafford. It's going to be extremely tough for us.. I have faith in Miccoli and Simao though, if anyone can get us points it's them. Nuno Gomes is in such bad form right now that it's painful to watch, I'd be happier to see Kikin start..

Wish we had a healthy Rui Costa for this one :(

There are two sounds I want to hear tonight: 70,000+ gloryhunters booing when Benfica score, and those same 70,000+ gloryhunters booing once again at full-time, when their mercenaries are knocked out of the Champions League. Benfica will win the match 1:0, with Miccoli grabbing the winner just after the hour mark. In fact, I've composed a chant especially for the occassion (dunno if other clubs fans have used it, but here goes):
