If Riquelme had played, Villareal would have surely won.

So who is the asshole who managed that sorry state of a team that got raped by Lyon???

Cristiano's long rage free kicks created some real danger. Tons of power and swerve. Unfortunately, I feel he was wasted on the left. He can give better crosses on the right. Not only that, but he was also too deep in midfield. To get the best out of Ronaldo, Fergie has to play him as a right winger. With Giggs or Park partnering him on the left.

my heart filled with joy when I saw Rooney get sent off... ****in pecker needs to learn to shut the **** up sometimes
Rooney has to learn when to clap his hands, and what clapping hands means.
He is a talented player with good vision, nice passing and great long shot ability. If he can keep his temper in certain circumstances, he will become a much better Rooney.

Well if we're by that, then if Keane would have played, Man Utd would have surely won.

saf obviously told the team to keep it tight first half and restrict villareal, EXACTLY what we did?!! what is everyone moaning about, our midfield played better than i have seen them this season. Smith still has to learn but still is an excellent replacement for keane, he mistimed a few tackles but experience will aid that.

Park is going to be another kleberson, SH!T. I hope i am wrong, its the second game in a row where he had made absolutley no impact when he has come on. Scholes palyed ok as well last night, i think the captaincy spurred him on to put in some work this time instead of shirking it most of the time.

Rooney was stupid for his actions but he's worth it, man utd knew what we were buying into, the best players can have problems,

beckham = tempermant/ gets bigger that the club,
ronaldo = weight problem,
maradona = alchohol, drugs etc,
Gazza = wife beater, alchohol etc.

Rooney is worth the problem he brings, he's worth a sending off or two per season as one moment of his magic can win games, which we have seen against newcastle (stunner goal)

and for all those non-man utd english fans who slagg off rooney, you will bum him when world cup comes

LOL Ronaldo's weight problem is gone. :) Anyways even when he was really fat he still ran past defenders and scored.. :lui:

I don't think the result is bad, getting a draw away against a team who is very hard to break down on their own ground is good, we will finish them off at OT with or without Riquelme, I'm not afraid off him, I trust Man U. Some peeps are whining to much IMO, why this and that, Park is ****, Fletcher is bla, Smith can't play in the holding roll bla bla, that is what you wanted Smith playing in that roll and now peeps are whining about that. With this formation we had a very good string of results last year when we didn't lose for about 20 matches, it was with this formation, we ripped Arsenal apart with this formation when they could hardly play around the ball in both the FA cup and league, we have one of the best season starts in the club history and peeps are still whining. The likes of Barcelona etc got a slap in the face when they played against Villareal in that stadium by losing 3-0. So this result isn't bad at all.

Agreed......I think the result was not as exciting as a win but the draw is certainly not a dissapointment.

Stupid sending off blah blah bliggididy blah, I'm just glad he didn't do anything worse. "Rooney is stupid! Rooney is a twat! Rooney is so immature blah blah blah :jambo:" Stfu, all he did was frickin clap out of sarcasm, the way some of you are rambling on and on, you'd swear he shot the ref.

Stupid Big Bird lookin referee...the first yellow was nonsense so he deserved to see how stupid he was. Stupid sending off or not, he's still the best player in the world for his age, end of story.

"Ohh lolzzzzz if Riquelme was playing Villareal would've won for sure lolololzzzzzz!!1111111" Gimme a damn break. He may be talented, but if he couldn't break a non existant Brazilian defence this summer, how was he supposed to break a bunkering defense like ours(regrettably)? Besides, I hate his guts. Ever since that Brazil-Argentina game, where he took it upon himself to shove Brazilian players around like they were nothing, like he was something, stupid prick, if I were a Brazilian player I would've kicked his 4 foot ass off the pitch.

No, Keane would have stopped Rooney from clapping and then Rooney would have taken care of the rest to win the game.

Riquelme will never be anything like Keane was.
