Porto - Roma and Monaco - Villarreal!
Fuck that shit
You shouldn't have any issues with Roma, let's be honest.
Thing is considering how bad we've been this last couple of seasons, I can't be really confident and out of the lot of possible opponents they were theoretically the toughest we could get.
We really need to make an impact this season especially on the domestic league, but CL football is always a must do for us given the financial boost it provides and the prestige it involves.
So we better fucking do it, but I'm not as sure we can as I'd like to be.
Fucking Nainggolan though, what a beast.
SG consistently doubts my predictive and evaluative genius.
Also, LOL at Spain. Germany and England will have 4 teams, but I guess that's just because we are better leagues.
Classic De Rossi, btw.
It wasn't supposed to have been easy, but the early goal gave us confidence and then the red cards just added to Roma's misery. Fine win for us, I was hopeful we could do it but certainly not sure especially after the first leg result.
Nice result from Porto.
La Liga will have 4 teams as well.
Btw, Bayern were the last no-la liga team to win an european trophy... So yeah, lol at la Liga.
one of these
Group A: Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, FC Basel, Ludogorets
Obvious: Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal
Group B: Benfica, Napoli, Dynamo Kiev, Besiktas
Obvious Benfica, Napoli
Group C: Barcelona, Man City, Borussia Monchengladbach, Celtic
competitive group but most probably Barcelona and City
Group D: Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, PSV Eindhoven, FC Rostov
Obvious Bayern Munich, Atletico Madri
Group E: CSKA Moscow, Bayer Leverkusen, Tottenham, Monaco
best group I go for Spurs and Monaco
Group F: Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Sporting Lisbon, Legia Warsaw
Obvious Real and BVP
Group G: Leicester City, FC Porto, Club Brugge, FC Copenhagen
Obvious Leicester City, FC Porto
Group H: Juventus, Sevilla, Lyon, Dinamo Zagreb
Obvious Juve and Sevilla
group stage is fucking a joke, only one group (group E) is competitive
I think Group A will be PSG and Basel
Some interesting groups
Leicester has a pretty favorable group.
Hate having Atletico in my group.
I don't quite have the same view of the groups as Kp. Yes they are horribly disjointed but I see potential for upsets. Basel could finish above Arsenal. Dynamo Kiev are a capable team in group b and if either benfica or Napoli slip up they could be topped. I think group H will be juve and Lyon, lyon are shit hot this season and Sevilla may subconsciously send themselves back to their favourite competition. Also whilst I am delighted Leciester have been drawn in a soft group, they could completely buckle and club Brugge could be handed a pass.
It's also cool to see Legia Warsaw there
I dont see what's the big deal with new changes ... 14/15 teams of top 4 leagues play in group round every year ...
Apparently the top 4 leagues will get 4 automatic spots in the CL from 2018 onwards so as long as Italy can hang on the current top 4 will stay that way forever.

Would be amazing if Italy fell out of the Top 4 after 2017.
I don't have a problem with that actually - assuming the fourth places still have to go through qualifiers. What I really don't like is this 'historical merit' idea.
I think screw the other 3 positions and make it for the league winners. Expand beyond Europe too maybe. Then it'll be really legit.
