UEFA Cup Entry....

Ok, am I right in thinking its possible to be entered into the UEFA Cup after being knocked out of the Champions League? If so which rounds allow entry to UEFA if I lose?

As at the moment i'm playing as Linfield, have been drawn Dynamo Kiev in the third round of qualifying, tricky drew but I may manage to scrape through. Now if I lose both legs an get knocked out of the competition, will I be entered into the UEFA Cup where i'd have more chance of progressing?

out of the third qualifying CL means qualifying for the UEFA doesnt it?

Then in the group stages, if you finish 3rd, you automatically join the UEFA cup.

Yes, it does.

Losing the 3rd qualifying round to the Champions League gives a place in the UEFA Cup.
Ending 3rd in the group stage in the Champion League gives a place in the UEFA Cup.

playing the game this way should be more entertaining than getting chelsea and spending $120M for Torres..

Never use big teams to be honest, but i'm finding Linfield quite a struggle, no-one wants to play in n.ireland

Anyway i've been drawn Real Betis (:/) Whats the most defensive tactic I can use to get me through the away leg?

me neither.. but not a club like linfield of course.. I opt for deportivo la coruna.. (:/)


try 4-1-3-2 defensive.. with full court press and wide, attack stance to down both flanks.. but don't expect too much..
