I remember hearing awhile ago that the Uefa cup is going to have a new format, now having a group stage or something. Can someone tell me or give me a link on how it is going to work next year

UEFA Cup Format for next season

there will be 2 qualifying rounds as oppesed to them having one, that featured the smaller clubs.
By round 1 they will have 80 clubs, drawn seeded vs unseeded
the 40 winners, will be drawn into eight groups of five. Clubs from the same association will not be drawn into the same group. Each club plays home and away alternately in its group. The following match sequence applies:
1st match day: D v B E v A C not playing
2nd match day: B v E C v D A not playing
3rd match day: A v B E v C D not playing
4th match day: C v A D v E B not playing
5th match day: A v D B v C E not playing
The top 3 in each of the eight groups are joined by the 8 teams that finished 3rd in the CL groups
Teams that finished 1st in theire groups wil play the third place teams (with the 1st place clubs playing leg 2 at home), teams that finished 2nd will play the 8 teams coming down from the CL (with 2nd place clubs playing leg 2 at home)
from the round of 16 is the same except no clubs will be seeded

i like this new format
Yeah the format is good because it allows smaller clubs to play more European matches, that's always a good thing 
. The one thing that still bothers me is the teams that come down from the CL, imo if you leave a competition because you weren't good enough then you shouldn't get another chance in a smaller competition where you have a chance to win but oh well.

Like the look of it, and deffinatly agree with above. If u go out of CL why get a place in UEFA Cup?

Its to make the games in CL mean more if two teams can finish first or second, but can finish 3rd and go to the UEFA, they put a better quality side out for the matches.
