The patch is pretty good .
I was hoping that it will include the EURO 2008 mode in FIFA 08 , cause it would be easier . In the way you made it , it has some problems .
I can't click the low buttons like the ones form instant replay for example . Also some options don't work . Like the START TOUR option for example .
Also , when I play , my computer makes some weird sounds . I thought is my PC cause I had some problems lately , but I see I'm not the only one .
The teams/players and they're boots are also problems . You added some wrong boots to wrong players . Del Piero wears Nike , Toni adidas , etc . Also some of the numbers are wrong . Mutu has number 4 ...witch is not him
Since I am an armband maker , I would like to talk about the armbands a little bit , cause the most of them SUCK !!!
I don't know who made them , but I'm 100% sure , that the one who made those armbands is not an armband maker .
I saw foka made the adboards (an least I think so , cause I recognized his adboards style) , why don't you asked him to make the armbands to ???
Except the Spain , Holland and Romania armbands , the rest of them suck (in my opinion) . If you would asked Foka to make the armbands to , I'm sure I was going to like them , cause he is a great armband maker and I think that he could made them great .
Anyway , I'll make a set of armbands for myself but can you tell me how can I change the armbands are already in the game ???

Guys, as the concept author of this patch, I don't know what to say... But at first I want to apologise for all this, even if i am directly not responsible. Despite the relevation that this patch is its own mode, that should not excuse the numerous bugs that are found everywhere. Whilst some I can vouch for and acknowledge that they ARE neccessary to avoid crashes (eg the non-clickable items in Menu); there are others that I can simply can not have in a patch with my name on it.
1. As mentioned above: St Jakob -> Stade de Suisse - Stade de Suisse -> St. Jakob This is a bug that I am partly responsible for. In Effect - I informed MD that I would be changing the ID's for St Jakob and Stade de Suisse around in the DB, but somehow he did not follow through with changing the other relevant files. Also, the Stade de Geneve is filed under "S" when it should have "EURO - " at the front to make it easier to find for users.
2. As for Rosters I dont know what is the problem for other users, but this could be a problem that an updated roster was not included in the patch, only using the default fifa.db. I think that my own rosters are only visible in my own version
3. There should also be a sunset daylight setting for all EURO stadiums. I have the menu and loading screens to prove it. Also, previous stadium images from ECP stads are shown ingame on menu pics. These are from ECP stadiums that I used last time around from my 07 patch with their permission.
4. Cameras: In Woerthersee stadium, the Goal Kick can only be taken from seeing nothing but the adboards across the whole screen. It would be nice if MD could have made same Goal Kick Camera for ALL stadiums. And the non default cameras are only good if seeing from top of screen; from the bottom the screen is at least 1/4 black.
5. Classic XI - In the MODE it only has half a star, with no players and its home stadium is the UEFA Ultimate Arena which has no menu or loading screens. I haven't dared to test whether the stadium actually works, in case it crashes so I hope I'm wrong... In fact I have such screens for that stadium from my FIFA 07 patch. If only I could give them to MD for him to import... Actually, The Classic XI's home stadium should be the Olympiastadion Munich and the Nineties XI's home stadium should be the Stade de France... I wonder how many of you actually have that stadium at all...
And to MD and Outsider my collaborator's on this project: I'm sorry to sound so pessemistic and angry, but i want this patch to be the best ever, as it deserves to be. I am only hoping that we can fix these bugs together and make a perfect patch for a second release.

I agree with you Robbie and the problem is, as I have already said, that MD didn't let us the time to test the patch
Then, for example, about stadiums loading screens and stadiums in general, I'm maybe more angry than you because they were our stadiums. There is no sunset condition and loading screens are wrong

And I competely understand your anger Outsider. You're more than justified in being outraged in your stadiums NOT being accreditted for as you wished.
That's why I'm suggesting a second release of this patch with all bugs fixed for all concerned.

Yeh that's a bug you see in FIFA 08 too. It's because the new stadiums don't have their own stadium cinematics.

Whooo ! I need more times for this MODE, really, 2 or 3 days more... I spent all Sunday built & upload, just a little test... Maybe "health" killed me... OK ! I will released FIXED soon...

I am asking again about gameplay fix is it possible to install as on original fifa coz playing with this is just frustrating,i cant approach goal at all,ball and players acontrol are impossible,as iasaid on fifa that was fixed with patch from ea can i do something to make same on this patch?

the gameplay file is ini.big & ai.ini in CONFIG.dat, you can copy your INI.big from data\cmn\ to data\eur\, and import ai.ini to EURO08.dat at FIFA Main folder.

still i haven't seen them yet. Armband tool by Rinaldo demeged my db and i had some exams so still didn't have time to make a thing.

Please rework the magazine. It's a very nice application and it's style is really cool, but the group table calculation does not calculate matchpoints correctly, another problem is that more than half of the results aren't saved.
