UEFA Euro 2004 PATCH for FIFA 2004!

Hey mates!
We (some german guys) are working on an EURO 2004 patch for FIFA. It'll have those features:

- original kits in 2GK quality (home, away, keeper, some trainings)
- original chants and national anthems (optionally)
- almost 150 (partially 2GF) faces!
- original ad-boards
- original 2GK referee kits
- new pop-up logos
- all EURO 04 stadiums (some are new built, some converted from EURO 2004)
- Adidas Roteiro ball
- original squads and numbers
- skills, formations, and so on updated
--> Netherlands, Bulgaria and Latvia added (everything is updated, you'll not notice that those teams are added later)


We almost finished but we didn't test it with the english Version of FIFA yet. So we need a tester!

You should have:
- the English version of FIFA 2004
- some time to test immediatly
- a fast internet connection
- ICQ or MSN Messanger

I don't care who it is, I just pick the first who's answering! ;)

But we have some "small" problems till now! In particular matches the game crashes when loading the match.
It has to do with the faces, cause if we deactivate them it works. It's not a problem with the team or it's faces itselves, because it works fine if you play against another opponent.
We first thought it's the amount of the faces, but it isn't. Other mtches with many face are working well...
If you know (or at least you think you know :D) what yould be the problem please contact me!!

We'll show some screenies soon ;)

It doesn't work as it should:(

The only thing which happens is that it imports new kits (only in Internation section), new pop-up logos, new ball and UEFA EURO name.

Shouldn't it be possible to play the tournament?
What about the stadiums?

Hope you can help

Please read the readme file in the "...\FIFA 2004\EURO 2004 Patch" folder ;)

But there's a mistake in the readme for the modus: it tells you to copy a data folder and import files into the z_data05.big. You don't have to do this! You just have to copy the "user" folder like it is explained ;)

My Game always crashes whenever I start Fifa 2004. It turns black, loads the first screen then freezes and slowly crashes to windows. I tried opening the euro 2004 exe. file but it wont open either. I followed everything except for the sound part. I downloaded both the chant files and i read the readme and it said

"can be implemented in your FIFA by (after you've runned one or the both sounds-installer) starting the "chantimp.bat"

I couldn't find the chantimp.bat file anywhere!

HELP I NEED THIS PATCH TO BE FIXED OR I WILLL HAVE TO UNINSTALL FIFA!!!!:(

HEY AUTHORS AND CREATORS OF THIS PATCH!! cant u upload the patch to other servers rather than FILEFRONT?? your patch is really very awesome!! but i cannot download the files as i cant go to filefront due to my filter!!!!! can the fifa4fans site do something about it? u guys have quality patches but its a waste for me becos i cant download anything from there!!! I HOPE U CONSIDER MY SUGGESTION.... thank you

i have same problem as kidcrazy

please help, i have the same prob as kidkrazy with the chamtimp.bat: it doesn't exist eather in sound patch 1 or 2

there is a way that i missed to import the chants?

the exe patch work just fine
but the portuguese team need some more improvement on the starting squad and the value of some platers.

Great patch anyway man.

( just a question: as i can't import the chant right now, how works the national anthems? The all anthem is in there? for both team in beguining or just a part of one of the anthems?)

I cant get this patch to work i have followed the readme and still nothing when i goto tournaments all thats there are korean teams i have read the read me and followed it and its not working!!!!! im confused!

Ah, I'm really sorry! I think I there some old/wrong readmes in it :(

For the sounds:
There should be a "e04p_sounds.part1.bat" and/or a "e04p_sounds.part2.bat" in the chants folder! Just run those ;) I#m sorry for that ;)

When crashing:
I think you haven't clicked the "precoess" button in fatGUI.exe ;) Just start the fatGUI.exe in your ...\FIFA 2004\data folder again and click "process" ;) Should help!

You have to go to the load/save mode and load your tournamant there ;)
And I think you can't play online with it, cause it updates the Roster, maybe if your opponent is playing the patch to ;)

About servers:
I'll try to load it on another server ;) I'll post it here if I found one ;)

Thanks it works now im gonna import my national anthems to it an all make it very good!!! England will have God save our Queen at start of match!!!:mrpimp:

First of all: great job!

You've saved us 50 Euros each and gave back fun for more than a hundred. This has made FIFA2004 almost complete:

Almost, I say: because if such a patch is possible, why hasn't there been built a Champions League 03/04 stadium, with some special stadiums and rosters and so on? This is the other thing that has been missing within FIFA2004 so maybe that will be a nice treat before FIFA2005 will be out.

Anyway, this is more thanenough to enjoy myself with during summerholiday, thanx again!
