Oh yeah since he's American makes sense he's doing a patch of his continent too :)

There might be some delays because of that but if you manage to get help from other people too, things might get done faster! ;-)

I know, Many hands get patches finished!

The data is all there in my RTWC patch from 2014 and from 2013. All you need to do is re-number the compdata tables to fit whatever leagues and tournaments will be in your patch and database.

There are people on this site and others who have already used the data from that patch so it shouldn't be that difficult to find someone to help out.

But all the teams are in the International League #78 & the tournaments have their own default IDs; if generic ones.

Not true, in all my patches I used the licensed tournament IDs unless it was a smaller tournament that wasn't in FIFA. In my previous patches each tournament pulls teams based on the team id, I didn't use any commands that pull teams based on what league they are in.

To do this correctly with qualifying you need your patch to be standalone and not part of a full db with club teams. Otherwise, it can become complicated when renumbering because that shell Euro tournament is already in the compobj.

I agree with you because it's much simpler if the patch features national teams and EURO tournament only.

@RobbieD_PL EURO tournament id is 980 and qualifying is id 981.

I'm all for have just a national team-only patch in FIFA if it will make the tournament(s) work properly. The only thing I can think of is; you will still need to keep the original national stadiums; however, even though they're home to club teams.

So, in UEFA, you need to keep:
Wembley
Stadio Olimpico
Santiago Bernabeu
Olympiastadion Berlin (+ Olympiastadion Munich)
Amsterdam Arena

+ if there is going to be a fusion of UEFA EURO 2016 & Copa America:
El Monumental
Estadio Azteca
CenturyLink Field
BC Place

And maybe King Fahd Stadium for KSA as the national stadium. I wouldn't mind adding S. Korea and Japan; they have their national stadiums & darrek has just made Saitama.

I didnt plan on removing any stadiums whether we merge the patches or not, I dont see any reason to do that.

No need to merge patches, from what I've understood in the EURO patch we just need to remove all club data to be able to insert the EURO tournaments successfully :P

Removing all unnecessary stadiums could be done as well... (all club stadiums where a national team doesn't play and all the generic ones).

By the way @RobbieD_PL MonkeyDragon updated all PES DLC EURO popups: http://www.soccergaming.com/forums/showthread.php?t=194189 ;)

It wasn't my idea to join the patches, its much easier for Robbie and myself to leave them separate, it's less work and less logistical issues for both of us.

Sure thing. It's much easier for us to focus on getting things done for our patches individually.

Guys, are there any UEFA Countries that use more than one stadium for their national team?

I can only think of Portugal (da Luz, Dragao, Alvalade & Braga), Lithuania (Vilnius & Kaunas) Switzerland (Stade de Suisse & St. Jakob Park) and Ukraine (Olympic Kyiv and now Arena Lviv because of the conflict in Donbass).

I know that Turkey and Greece have different stadiums; but I will go with their Olympic stadiums as their "national" ones + they each have individual IDs in the FIFA series.

I guess having multiple stadiums for a national team in the EURO patch is feasible for all the above teams except Lithuania; since, except for the Lithuania stadia, they all have their own unique IDs in the FIFA series anyway.

Well, Slovenia does use Maribor (Ljudski vrt.) & Ljubljana (Stožice stadium) stadiums in qualifiers (which i assume you meant here). Dont know about the rest.
EDIT! going trough qualifiers logs, i noticed Switzerland also used St. Jakob-park stadium & AFG arena & Swissporarena
