More Europa League today.

I think that if we pass, being Valencia or Atletico the next team, we'll have a easier job. It will be difficult but more easy that this one. But never knows how our condition will be at that time.

But now, lets focus on Liverpool game. We need to draw or beat them! We have done it before in the CL! FORÇAAAA

Liverpool seem to be heavily favoured, but i think Benfica can at least get a draw i don't see why not with such a good squad.

we're playing better! **** this ****! Gerrard is better than Michael Phelps! The refere in the first play of the game stop a Benfica play that would give as a goal! 2-0!!!! we need at least 1 goal to draw this!

Watching the stream on Goltv, don't know who's the commentator but one of them seems to have a hard on for Liverpool and Dirk Kuyt.

Valencia were robbed. There was an obvious penalty at Zigic at the end that the referee somehow missed. The defender pulled Zigic's jersey so hard that his shirt tore.

this one was their first goal, scored by Kuyt.

He's offside...

EDIT: Not offside, sorry, i thought that he touched the ball.

how the hell did teams like Fulham and Hamburg reached semi-finals ? Europa league seems worse then Uefa Cup

Hamburg has a good squad what are you smoking in that crack pipe? Europa league status.

Btw you know they made the semifinals last year right? before losing to Werder Bremen. You should watch more football....

But Fulham is placed on the bottom of the table in England this means Europa League pretty much sucks and is worse then Uefa Cup where at least Eastern Teams reaching far were champions of their country

You should stop and think for a moment why their position is not as good compared to last season(but no where near the bottom of the table) is because they've made the Europa League campaign as their main priority for the remainder of the season.

If anything Fulham are inconsistent in the league, their home form is excellent but their away form is in contrast to it. In the Europa League it's totally a different story, they've been very solid.

The table in each league doesn't tell the whole story, it only tells us which team is more consistent in getting results in the league, and Fulham don't have a big squad capable of competing in more than one front. They've beaten United 3-0 at home this season comprehensively, surely that says something about them.

I get broadcasted only matches of Manchester and Chelsea so I can't follow unknown teams like Fulham, one of the smallest teams of England. Good to them but I hope they get trashed by Hamburg for the sake of competition's prestige. Europa League would only decay further in the interest of public if Fulham would win it

Let me get this straight, first you put down the current status of the Europa League because teams like Fulham and Hamburg reach the semi-finals, and then you say that in order for the Europa League to not lose its prestige, Fulham must get themselves trashed by Hamburg?

So after putting them(Fulham and Hamburg) in the same bracket, suddenly Hamburg is a team worthy of the semi-finals but not Fulham? How the heck is that different?
Despite beating the likes of Shakhtar, Juventus and Wolfsburg on route to the Semi-finals, because they're such a small team and unknown outside England they're diminishing the competition's prestige?

Sorry, but instead of putting down Fulham's status because of their small level of popularity you should watch their games and look at how and why they've reach this far in the first place. Its ignorant to say that a team just because its not known familiarly as other so-called "big" teams doesn't deserve to reach this level of the competition.

At the end of the day, if a team's popularity determine its merit's of being at a certain level, then we would be seeing the likes of Madrid, Barca, Arsenal, Man Utd every year in Champions League semi-finals.

sort of...because Hamburg has better pedigree from the past but neither of them deserve to be in semifinals of this competition in my opinion.

not big deal, Shaktar was eliminated by an unknown team from Champions League qualifiers and Juventus has the worst season of their history they lost their last 7 matches If i'm not mistaking.

I would but like i said I don't get broadcasted the whole EPL, and for some reason I hate all teams which I don't know.
