This **** is gay, every club must have all the criterias fullfilled, and theres gay **** like reflectors on the stadium etc. in the slovenian league, it was supposed to be: 1st goes to CL Quals, 2 and 3rd, Uefa cup, and 4th Intertoto. Now its 1st Cl Quals, 3rd and 6th Uefa cup, and 10th intertoto.

so what if the stadiums are a bit ****, i mean if they played good all season, these teams deserve to be in the Uefa cup or the intertoto. not some bull**** teams, that didnt do **** all year. I mean the 10th club goes to Intertoto, in a league with 12 teams.
This is bull****, just because they have the money to build a fancy stadium, doesnt mean that they are the only ones capable of representing the country in Europe.

Like in every league, our league has a certain amount of european cup positions. Its not much, because the league is poop.
Heres how it goes:
1st placed: CL Quals spot
2nd placed: UEFA Cup
3rd placed: UEFA CUP
4th placed Intertoto

and thats it.
But, this year, the UEFA made some stricter rules, and all clubs who participate in these competitions must have an UEFA licence.
Now these licenses were given only to the 1st placed, 3rd placed, 6th placed, and 10th placed. And therefore, only those will participate in the cups.

In short, a club that has done **** all year, given no results to secure a Europe spot, finished 10th in the league, gets a ticket to Europe, because they have a nice stadium.

I mean why the **** play all year, and fight for UEFA spots, if in the end youre going to get ****ed for some stadium and money problems.

Also about money problems, how the **** are the clubs going to get out of money problems, if they cant play in Europe, which would bring in the crowds and money. Our league is ****, i admit, the teams with the biggest stadiums get around 500-1000 people per game. But stiil, it isnt fair, in my opinion. The clubs should be placed in Europe solely for their results, and not for their financial capability.

Yeah that is a very stupid rule from UEFA but in the long run it will force these teams to get some money one way or another and eventually have some pretty nice stadiums. Like the Romanian league has 16 teams and this year the 6th placed team Apulum Alba Iulia almost got relegated to Divizia B because their stadium wasn't up to UEFA's standards but as soon as this was even mentioned their main sponsor, Bergenbier (beer company) gave them all the money that they needed to add the things that UEFA want's every stadium to have, they were some lucky bastards .

yeah, but in some clubs, stadium is not the only problem, so is money. some clubs have like 1 million$ debts, some more (that aint much for big european clubs, but its some cash here ).
whats done is done tho, Mura has a new coach, Bojan Prasnikar, previusly the coach of the Slovenian NT, and next year, i hope these problems are gone.

The security in the stadiums is absolutely necessary. UEFA must control the stadiums and guarantee a stadium in good conditions to play a tournament so important as the UEFA Cup or Champions League.

That's the only way to maintain certain standards. The rules are harsh, but they are good. And these requirements were announced at least 3 years before they were executed, so the teams only have themselves to blame for it.

it doesnt transend, how many times does a 2nd place team ends up in a relegation battle the folling year and the uefa cup sucks as a result, this is why kaiserslautern a german club, gets beat by teplice or why groclin of poland ends up going to the 3rd round or debrecen of hungary, or stupid stuff so who cares so much about a team that doesnt meet the standards, they wont get far in the tiournament anyway, id rather see a bigger name club that has a better chance of havuing better players to buy because they have some money, but it s not the fault of clubs that meet the criteria. This rule wa made so clubs cant spend money banking ion it paying of by going in the hole, thinking europe money will make ends meet, it will prevent seeing another Leeds
