I agree with you that Dida isn't better than Casillas, I'd say they're equal. But to say Casillas is better than Buffon is the laughable part here frankly. Buffon IS a better shot-stopper than Casillas, it's just that due to the extraordinary number of times your defence gets penetrated he has to make MANY more saves than Buffon because of the difference in defences . Casillas is also notorious to pulling off a Dracula and dying whenever he sees a cross, espacially a floated one. I agree that Buffon IS a better penalty stopper and has a better presence. And YES, Buffon IS a better GK.

if anyone happened to watch euro, buffon was unreal, italy played terrible but he was simply unbelieveable. the only goals he let in were the freak ibrahimovic goal and the penalty vs bulgaria. this is just an example (and we didnt lose a game beacuse of it)

buffon is a BRILLIANT shot stopper, casillas plays well week in and week out for madrid, but so does buffon. juventus's defence is solid but that doesnt mean that buffon isnt making saves, juventus have kept many clean sheets because of him

Obviously you haven't seen any Fulham games this year. He may not be as fresh as he used to be but he's much, much better at 34 than Dida ever was. He can actually punch a ball out of the 16, mind you.

I think the team is basically well done, just change Cafu for Paulo Ferreira and it'll be perfect. (H) About Maniche all i have to say is that when he's in shape he's clearly one of the best midfielders in Europe and IMO better than Gerrard.
