UEFA decided that Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC and Bney Yehuda Tel-Aviv won't host their home matches in Israel. The decision about Maccabi Haifa and Beitar Jerusalem will be made on August 7th.

I think it's a horrible decsion.
If Depache Mode can preform here so do Liverpool, Dinamo Bukarest, Lokomotiv Sofia and Domzale can play here.
This decesion is a coward one.

Your replies just shows me how unknoledgeable u r...
Know I will write it in a way that u can understand:
The matches were schedualed to be played in Tel-Aviv which is in the center of Israel unlike Haifa (BTW no bombs fell there in the last days) which is in the north of Israel and closer to Lebanon.
I think now u understand, BTW channels like BBC etc... r pro arab so i won't be surprised if u've heard most of the things from there...

your country is at war. no country would be willing to send its civilians to a warzone to play a football match.

There is a war going on in Israel. Some teams are scheduled for a match in Israel. Those teams don't want to play in Israel. Israel is a dangerous country right now, because there is a war going on.

I can't make it more clear

They haven't decided on Maccabi and Beitar... does that mean they haven't discussed it yet, or that they are uncertain what do to..?

They just can't allow a match to be scheduled within the borders of Israel.

First of all, all of you people out west, that watch TV, and base their opinion on sometimes biased TV stations, you can't tell us or decide if it's a "warzone" or define what is dangerous. Playing in Haifa would be dangerous since rockets fall there and most of the northern area of Israel is sitting in bomb shelters. BUT the center is SAFE. fact is, lot's of people including whole families (and football teams too) come to the center to stay until the situation calms down.
I can't see any reason why Liverpool or any of the other teams can't spend about 7 hours of flight+ 9 hours of rest+ 4 hours of training+ 1.5 hours of gameplay and then another 7 hours of flight back. It's only a matter of a day and a half jeez.
I think our teams and our crowds deserve to see these games here and cheer for their lads. why should they pay tons of money to stay in another country to watch a home game?!

Only Israeli people will say it's a good idea to play a match in their country.

Think about that.
