I didn't even know of their existence up until a month ago or so, man. I hope they follow it up with something equally as impressive if not better on their next project.

O.C- Word Life

Not familar with them at all, I'll definatly check em' out though..

Hilltop Hoods enjoyed quite a bit of airplay on Nova with "Nosebleed Section" and "The Sentinel".

it's tough to categorize underground anymore. in finland there's hardly any real underground scene, mostle because of the internet and all the "great" internet emcees that have never seen a stage.. :(

my personal favourite in the Finnish scene (not including projects involving my friends) is Fellaz. You can get a full album of them from http://www.abo.fi/~kiramste/EMiL/empeethrees.html
especially songs 'Crystal' 'Keep it Lit' and 'Take Your Best Shot' are absolutely brilliant!

it's honestly worth a listen!

there are few great underground artists coming up here too though..

but can you say that anything not played in the radio is underground?

is cunninlynguists underground any more?
nope. nor nasty or filthy..

is immortal technique underground?
can anything quoted on the source be..?

is athletic mic league underground anymore?
maybe..

is jean grae underground?
not likely..

nowadays most of the really talented get noticed, no matter what..

sorry for my style of writing, I couldn't be arsed to start every sentence with a capital letter 'n stuff.. :)

In Germany lots of people mix up underground artists and artists signed on independent labels.

When Bo Flower released his album "Shifty*m's persönlich" he was an underground artist. You can download his album here.

A few more former underground artists.

This guys get 0 airplay on radio. Bo Flower would deserve some.

the only Rap album I have right now is the last Dr. Dre album.
I use to like Rap and Hip-Hop before 2002, but since 2002 every body is singing Rap/Hip-Hop.
thast why I don't listen to it anymore.

true...everything else these day is Hip-Hop (50,m&m,snoop,kanye,jay,...) they turned away from "rapping" and they focus more on beats. I hear it all the time "yo, let me hear the beat" instead of "yo, let me hear your rhymes". I guess it could still be called rapping but its not the same as legends like 2pac, b.i.g., dre...these guys had a "real" message behind their lyrics, everything now a days is "money, hoes, cars"...instead of tupac's messages (pregnancy,fatherhood,police,justice...)

I still listen to these new guys, but it does kind of bother me...
i prefer rap-metal=rage against the machine, molotov(spanish)...bands with a true message behind them.

old school rap(2pac;b.i.g.)>>>>>>>>>>>new "rap"(m&m,kanye):mrpimp:
