LOL at Dempsey getting the Bronze Ball. Give me a ******* break. He showed all of us USA fans what we've been waiting to see for the past 3 years, he kind of made "the leap" in these last 3 games, but Donovan (or Howard) was our best player, and I don't think a USA player should have won any of those awards anyway.

dempsey fully deserved, he made the transition of midfield-attack very well and score some important goals. he is probably the most important player in USA team.

There is no such thing as luck, I never heard a bad team standing around talking about how lucky they are. Brazil had more space on the corners than Spain had, we always contested every cross and shot against Spain, we didnt do that against Brazil and Brazil is a better team than Spain as well. People need to wake up, WE ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO PUSH FORWARD FOR 90 MINUTES AGAINST BRAZIL, this doesnt mean we are not a good team because about 95% of the teams in the world do not have the talent to attack Brazil and keep them on their heals.

Why, are you a sellout, we dont deserve anything? Are you retarded?

I can't stand John Harkes and Alexi Lalas. These former players who played for the US National Team when we sucked and they were just happy to be on the same field as the big teams are still in the "we're just happy to be here" mentality. Well the fans and current players aren't just ******* happy to be here. The former players think these USA players are just as good as they were, when the truth is these guys are 10 times better.

I'm proud of our team and I'm optimistic for the World Cup. I don't think we can beat a talented team with a great coach, but we can advance to the knockout stage, and then who knows. Donovan and Dempsey can play at the highest level. DeMerit has won his place in the first team in my opinion, as has Davies. I think Davies might move to a club in a bigger league soon, because he clearly can be a valuable striker. His work rate and pace are very good. Sometimes he lacks that last touch, but he made a great assist to Donovan for the second goal too.

It's an award for the entire Tournament, and I don't think a US player has been one of the 3 best in the Tournament. If one was, then it was Donovan or Howard. I'm a sellout? Because I evaluate my national team honestly? **** off.

I hope we take out our frustration of a loss against the next team we play, not counting the gold cup of course.

Gutted about this loss, but as has been said.. bradley got it wrong in the second half. No reason to see your guys getting outplayed and wait till the last minutes to make changes

Oh, and I'm sorry, I thought that saying Dempsey "made the leap" was an indication that I wasn't trying to say that he played poorly. He played very well, just not top 3 player in the Tournament. And yes, we deserve our silver medal cocksucker, but not charity awards.

Completely agree. There was a time when such statements could be made of our team and they would be right in saying so... But those days are over.

As of now, my expectations for what can be achieved have increased, I just don't want to see Bradley repeat the same mistake over and over again.

We lost and got beat by a better team... yet I'm still Proud of our players.

He's right. Donovan and Howard were better. He's not "hating on" Clint Dempsey, he's pointing out that two players were more deserving, and they were.

Bob Bradley cost us the match, fact. You don't bunker against Brazil, you don't. How did we expose Brazil? Getting the ball out wide, exposing them, not letting their megastars run and run at our tired back four, particularly considering that back four wasn't protected by a defensive midfielder.

I'm not ******* hating on Dempsey, you're just a god damn imbecile with a 1st grade level of reading comprehension. Bradley is clearly somewhat culpable, as numerous other people have stated. He sat on his ass and didn't make a single adjustment until it was too late. If you really want to think that coaches don't play a role in soccer because the coach for you ****ty U-14 team didn't do anything, then fine, but don't try to get one over on someone who clearly knows a hell of a lot more than you.

And you're not angry about blowing a 2-0 lead? Just happy to be there! We learned a lesson!

What do you know about me, I grew up in Florida and played soccer my whole life and in college, how do you even play soccer in Wisconsin anyway, its frozen. I don't play on a under 14 team. I am an adult who owns his own business and negotiates thousands of dollars in principal off mortgages in the State of Florida to help bail out the depressed market. Don't get it twisted, I am not a little boy and I will go toe to toe with anyone on any subject. I am not happy with the loss, but I am not going to whine because we couldn't beat Brazil. We had to beat a solid team(Egypt) 3-0, and then Spain and Brazil back to back, who does that?, yes we had a chance but how many teams do you think could actually pull that off. Also it keeps us level headed going into the World Cup, A confederation Cup win would only build tremendous pressure going into WC 2010, I think we can win the world cup, I think this tournament proves that we can beat anyone but the chances of winning the Confed Cup and World Cup back to back would have been slim to none. The final result will make the team hungry, you could see tears at the end and they will never forget how that made them feel, this should set us up for a good run in the CUP. But of course you are the expert that lives in the frozen Tundra of Wisconsin, a hot bed for athletic talent and sports knowledge,(LOL)

Since he's from Wisconsin he's not allowed to talk about soccer? So then, using your logic, my North Carolina-born self knows more about soccer than you simply because I'm from North Carolina, a superior soccer state than Florida? North Carolina has three professional teams, they make a profit. Florida has one that BLEEDS money.

Take that somewhere else.

And for the record, college soccer is terrible, but UW itself has more titles than Florida as a state. Fact.

You sound like a real winner, I don't know why I would ever dare get in a war of words with you, you're a triple threat! Financial titan, soccer stud, and poet.

Go to any US Soccer Forum on the internet and people will be bitching about Bob Bradley's awful adjustments.

And yeah, I have no idea how I could possibly know anything about soccer living in a city with a climate virtually identical to Berlin. Clearly it's just too cold for any good soccer players to develop in such frigid conditions. Orlando's climate is similar to that hotbed of talent: Cairo.

Florida schools do not care about soccer, they are heavlily focused on US football but there is a ton of talent from the state that goes elsewhere to play and its usually over seas or the US program in Bradenton. When I played in college Florida didnt even have a team and Fl St. barely had one. When I played youth soccer , Florida was one of the deepest pipelines of talent along with Cali and Wisconsin wasnt even on the map.

Quote "Since he's from Wisconsin he's not allowed to talk about soccer?"

Not true, he can talk all he wants, just dont single me out as having a 1st grade education and playing on a under 14 team. I have a college degree and run a solid business in one of the most depressed stated in the US.
