unlocking kits

i bought fifa 2004 for ps2 on friday and was hoping for the 3rd kit for manutd-but it isnt there to select- but there has been threads saying that kits can be unlocked- is this true? can you unlock kits? how do you unlock kits? :mrpimp:

how many bloody times do i have to say this (not your fault though)

well to get kits all you have to do is when you are selecting 'home or away' sides the screen where you move the controller, just press r1 / l1 and then start a match and beat the side whoose kits you want then when you have one that the kit should be in the hall of kits

so far i have the prem third kits and la liga third kits and serie A trying to get scottish now

btw not every team has third kits and you can get kits unlocked from the EA Bios thing thats how i got the serie A kits every 4 levels

during career mode i reached level 4 on the EA Bio..it said that i unlocked rest of the world kits but when i go to the hall of kits only galatasary's third kit appears????????

also in the hall of kits how come the home and away kits are locked aswell?????

thats coz galatasaray is the only team in rest of world section with a 3rd kit

juve doesn't have a third kit

inter does have a third kit and all the kits have pirelli on them

and i guess all the home and away kits are locked so it gives you something to do to unlock them and make it look pretty

the only kits juve have are the black and white stripes and the pink kit

yeah there must be about 10 different referee kits

one for each league like serie A and la liga all have there own referee kit

Does Ajax have a third kit in the game? I know Ajax does in real life but do they have it in the game?

So to unlock kits for PS2 you have to....explain it again because your post really didnt make much sense...just that you have to beat the team you want the 3rd kit for, is that in career mode or just whenever, and whats this poof about L1 AND R1?:)

right this is what you have to do

1. when your on the screen with the picture of the control pad selecting which side you want to play as either 'home' or 'away' just press R1/L1 to get your active profile up on the control
2. then pick which team you want to be and for the other side pick the which kits you want to win
3.just beat the team and the kit should appear in the hall of kits

or if you found that confusing which i guarantee you its not just turn to page 7 in your fiifa 2004 manual and read the 'play now' section
