I started this thread so that I can underline achievements I've never made in CM before. I'm kinda slow with my game :D but hopefully I would be successful.

I'm in the year 2005 in September.

2003/2004: 4th place finish, UEFA Cup qualification
2004/2005: Bundesliga Winners, UEFA Cup Semi-finalists, German Cup Semi-finalists
2005/2006: German League Cup Runners-up(to be continued)

This is my squad for the third season.

My first ever Champions League match was against my favourite club, Man. United. The other clubs in the same group are Lazio and Shakhtar Donetsk.

To draw the 1999 Treble Winners would be a feat, but to defeat them would be a deserving victory no matter what. The first goal, scored by Ivan Klasnic, who struck the ball over Barthez's head after a superb ball by Germany International, Daniel Bierofka. The latter was then responsible for Barthez's own goal which effectively sealed the win for Leverkusen.

To go into a match with Schalke after beating the mighty Red Devils(England's one) would be like escaping jail without difficulty. Unfortunately, two poor goals conceded by Butt have sucked the confidence out of fans for us to retain the title. The goal scored by Asamoah, who ran Anthony ragged finished the move with a left foot curler. The goal would disappoint any manager.

Leverkusen are now in mid-table with 7 points behind Bayern Munich, leading with 13 points. The task is looking impossible for Leverkusen.

Why dont you play Gilberto ahead of Basinas and start Le Tallec? I think it would improve your performances.

Gilberto wasn't fit at that time and Le Tallec is too young. I let him play against the so-called weaker clubs for him to gain experience. My defence has been awful lately. I almost have no chance against Dortmund and Luiz Ronaldo. :(

Beat Lazio 2-0 in the Champs League. Berbatov found his scoring boots again. :D

Next is Bayern Munich. Deisler scored a superb curler before Berbatov equalised before half-time. Klasnic is a revelation with a winner on 73 minutes. :D

Le Tallec is too young? He played 55 games in hist first season (age 19) with me, scoring 48, assisting 15!!! How much did you pay for him?

£2.5 million. Quite a steal. I'll play him as soon as Basturk moves on. This is a different cattle of fish from Liverpool.
