hmm, i found the list of fixtures but it says england arnt playing any friendlys this year, only has wc qualifiers that are all dull matches :( same with france, italy, spain, portugal ect. germany is the only team with any decent friendlys. why is that?

Portugal don't have any friendlies scheduled. Our first match after the Euro2004 in in Riga against Latvia for the WC06 qualifying. I think it's the same for all UEFA NT's. they will concentrate in the first rounds of the qualifying until december.

Germany as hosts don't play in the qual. so will play friendlies.

ohhh of cause, didnt realise that. but why cant all teams have friendly matches? england had friendly matches right before the start of euro 2004, if anything it would help them to train and try out different tactics. i just wanna see a few rematches like england v france, thatd be one hell of a game :)

u mean america? i just realise something else, the wc qf dont start for another 3 months, why cant we have a few set ups before then? whole thing doesnt make sense :(
