Update failes and failes :(

Hi m8s!

Got a big problem with updating fifa 2004 to version 1.1!

I got my german update files with this file:
FIFA04_PC_German_1-1.rtp

Don't know how to install it.

I tried from electronicarts...it said it updated, but I can't find LAN game!

Thats my main wish of this update!

The Active-X Patch failes too, with an error, that there is one file not like it wanted it...! *eyeroll*

PLEASE....CAN U HELP ME??

Hey man!

Try this!!!

go to http://downloads.soccergaming.com/download.php3?id=00008764 and download it... but be sure that you have NO PATCH installed in your fifa and then install the 1.1 update with this program!

This is the easyest way to install this patch.

I had the same problems like you and this patch has helped me.

But, I think it won't work because u have the german version of the game, and u need the german version of the update.

The file u have is the right one, but u need more files to install it.

Check the help at EA support page, there you should find a link to an EA's ftp where you can find the patch for your german version, to install, u need a page called home.html (you should find it on ftp), when you have all the files, open that HTML page, and click on Install.

First, thx 4 your replies!

I got the ftp adress and the file called home.html.
But theres no file 2 patch.
If i start the home.html theres just the folder tree of the ftp folders.

you have to go to the DE folder if you have the german version of fifa

yeah, yeah...i know...but take a look into it!
Theres no patch file. Just this big german patch with this stupid ending....don't know this filetype.
I got all these files on harddisk. But theres nothing to execute the patch.

Do you know which file I have 2 use of them and how?
