Wait a second, how did france do at the World Cup? I must be crazy because I think France got eliminated in the group stage and the US lost to the eventual runners up in the Quarter Finals. That doesn't seem right!
Sorry you're so bitter that your nation completely lost all semblence of talent somewhere between 2002 and 2004, but you just have to deal with it, the United States is better at soccer than La France.
Go have a baggeutte, smoke a cigarette, and put on a beret, because you french really aren't good at anything; except for baking and fashion design.
I'd also like to congratulate you and your french commrades on the terrific national pride they have, who else would so willingly surrender the entire country, but still be so proud to be French. Well done!

Well, since they don't routinely play each other we can judge them based on how they perform in the same competition. France lost in the group stage of the world cup, the US got to the Quarter Finals. Seems easy to me. Who the hell are you anyway? You can't judge the US National Team, you don't know anything about MLS, you just know what you've been told.

The french players play on better club teams, but everyone on the US National Team could play top flight European Soccer. Donovan and Beasley will soon, Bocanegra could hold down ANY defense, and our keepers are the best in the world.
MLS = Joke, European high school kids play better than MLS players.

Anyway. I really like Donovan on the wing. Its good to see how versatile he is. He made that nice 60 yard run in the first half. We did look a little sloppy today though, and it should of been 2-0 after the first half.
Was Gibbs the only one who didnt play? I like him a lot, but i dont see him getting any playing time with Pope and Boca in the middle.
