IMO, the FA wouldn't sue SI or EIDOS, because they wouldn't want to cause a riot amongst the millions of UK-based CM fans.
yeah, without US, the game is a lot less realistic. But i think US will be in the game, with the players who play in Europe and greyed-out players

Yea, you can't copyright a countrie's name so the NT will probably be in the game.

CM isn't released here. I got my copy on eBay from someone in Thailand.
MLS was removed from the game because of "legal issues." This means that it was removed because of copyright laws. In the USA, you have to get permission to use something in a game. In the FIFA games, they have to get permission from the MLS to use the league in the game. CM didn't have permission which is why it was never released in the USA. They also may not have released it here because they thought it wouldn't sell. Either way, this really sucks for me just because I really liked using Americans from MLS in the game. Also, guys like Ruiz, etc won't be in the game because they play in MLS.

He is one of the best strikers in MLS. He wasn't that good in the last CM but in the new one he would have been good if he was allowed to be in it!

Officially, SI have stated, that they will not be releasing any patches to add the US leagues to the game. Of course, they would never release an official patch, as the legal issues are still in play there. They would also not mention an unofficial patch, as that too would call on legal issues...
It is not yet known if the official editor, that's going to be released with 03/04, will have the ability to add new leagues, my guess is it won't.

It's really too bad, even if the editor allows you to add new leagues all of the wacky MLS stuff will not be in there.
