USA U-20 vs. Mexico U-20

This game is today at 7 PM ET.

Should be a tough game for the US because they just had several players, including some starters, called back to play in the NCAA tournament. Our backline is going to suffer the most.

Also, Mexico just beat the Brazil U-20's 3-1 as well. The US defeated Honduras two days ago, on goals by Adu and Zimmerman.

Go USA! :rockman:

Yeah, it's a friendly.

I just checked, and Preston Zimmerman is only 15 (he turns 16 later this year). That's crazy, our two starting U-20 forwards are both 15.

MLS guys:

Freddy Adu
Danny Szetela
Aturo Alvarez
Craig Capano
Memo Gonzalez
Michael Bradley

I'd put money on half of those guys being in the starting XI for their respective clubs next year.

Then we have Jay Denny, who plays for Stoke City in The Championship (old Division 1) in England and goalkeeper Quentin Westberg who plays for a second-division French club.

Good players who are absent:

Jonathan Spector (Man U)
Eddie Gaven (MetroStars)

Canto, Hernandez, Landin, Prado

Rogers, Alvarez

Also, the goal is being credited to Adu, even though from the description of the goal it says it was scored by Will John.
