And they were not humble enough to win USA...

And the portuguese coach SUCKS, everyone hates him... bahh....

I hope he leaves soon... Even if portugal wins the cup.. wich i doubt... seriously.... :p

Yeah Baby!!! What a game. I really thought we would need to score another goal to hold them off, but we did it anyway. I was very nervous the last 15 minutes. Phew.

I am almost sure Portugal underestimated USA, but that takes nothing away from the great effort from the USA.

I think the Portugal-coach is not to blame if the players are not professional enough to approach the match with the right state of mind.
A very well known problem for us Dutch ;)

Yes, they all underestimated USA, so they got that... So all the blame goes to the players....

But the coach did some bad options...

That first goal marked the game..

USA had some luck but, also Portugal on that second goal. Mainly USA diserved to win, they were a more consistent team...

I wish Good Luck to the USA and that Portugal Passes on to the next round...

Althouth i didn't like the referee.... but that's no decent excuse...

USA thoroughly deserved to win because they played so well, particularly in the first half. Really, I just don't think Portugal knew what hit them - they were shell-shocked.

Portugal's star players, Figo, Rui-Costa, Nuno-Gomez, etc simply didn't perform on the day. Figo did nothing in the first hour.

It was quite funny in the last 5 minutes when USA just held the ball in the corner. Where Portugal would have hoped to put on a final last surge of attacks, they smply couldn't get the ball at all. Serves them right - they're a bunch of posers. Well done Coby Jones and Besley.

Don't be jealous because Canada will NEVER, EVER, EVER play in a WC!! The US and Mexico will rule CONCACAF for EVER. Sorry to break it to you so harshly:D

haha, ouch, you really got me there.
I've always been a basher of Canadian soccer, so that really got me. If Canada was in teh cup this year, I would be cheering against them (unless they were playing the states), or simply hoping for a win so I could laugh at the team that lost to Canada. We are an absolute useless soccer nation.

Well you've clearly jumped on all my comments across the forums, so I should pick one to give my reaction to. Not this one, wrong forum.
