Holly F*#%IN' SHIOT! (O.k. I admit it, I've been watching 'THE OSBOURNES')! It's like a hole new game! Just by those two tweaks in the ini.big file. Not only did I just win three games in a row on PRO level (HARD FOUGHT WINS, AGAINST TOP 10 TEAMS MIND YOU) but I think one of the two changes helps TREMENDOUSLY with win headers. I was one HEADING MOTHER in those games. I thought the first one was fluke but then it happened again, and again. It went from impossible to fairly easy. Thank's to whom ever figured out these changes first (sorry, cant remember).

No.. you was right.. this tricks are by Daniel San or CtrlAltDel.. .i have my own ini file... i changed a lot of stuffs including this 2 options (thanks to daniel san and ctrlaltdelete)... maybe i will post all the ini file here... but i still have to work on it...

I had to go play a couple more quick games to make sure i dont get flamed for making my claim. Yep. Won again! One question though:

The manual claims you can perform variable types of headers by using the shoot/pass/lobb buttons? I can only manage heading with the 'shoot' button. Guess i can't be picky, @ least now i can do that (and what a sweet feeling when you score off one, man..I love this game). SHARON...SHARRROOOONNNN...

only power up like halfway with the pass/lob buttons. gives you more time to get into posistion, i win tons of headers now all the time.

Wait if you change keepaway and new tackles to zero, does that mean that all the new tackles in the game are gone? And that the CPU doesnt play with the ball before attacking? I am just curious... i havent tried it out yet because i need to get hex workshop and reinstall the game, as its giving me errors. thanks.

Use "Editplus 2" to edit your ini files.

oh and it means that yes, the tackleing system is back to how it was in fifa2002. the keep away makes the computer attack, and not play keep away.

guys...i missed the discussion regarding the changes.

i got questions after seeing this forum:
1) edit what file? big.ini or soccer.ini?
2) what kind of changes are expected by setting those variable = 0?

pls advise...

You'll only need to edit the ini.big file. You'll then actually be able to WIN (it's still pretty tough however) in PRO level as well as (and more importanly) WIN headers.

i used wordpad and notepad to edit the ini.big file.
after saving, i couldn't run the game... what happened?
i need to copy the original file again from cdrom.

any special way to edit?

where can i get editplus2?
freeware? or is already in my pc?

Those programs wont work (at least not for most of us). Check back a couple of pages. Look for a post by 'johnnydepp'. He posted up the link to download "EditPlus2". If I Knew how to do that I 'd do it for ya! You dont have it w/windows. It's free to download and use for evaluation like WinZip.

i mean why isnt that on, if my players can make offsides runs, then the cpu can too.

The game keeps getting better & better each day with all these tweaks where changing. It will be better than PES in no time well maybe not but getting there.
